   Always good food and good service however they add 3% to the bill as a service charge above and beyond what you tip which I find very annoying.

   Really nice brunch experience on Sunday. Service and Food were spot on. Food was full of flavor and textures. Well done.

   I have liked Rood in earlier visits. This time the food was a bit disappointing - two different pies, an ice cream and a sorbet. My impression is they might be going for culinary distinction at the expense of taste.

   Easily one of the best restaurants in NEO. Grilled octopus small plate was a big portion, nicely charred. Wild boar gnocchi was super flavorful as was the meatloaf. And, of course, the amazing pie is the co-star. Service was spot on with the staff being very knowledgeable of the dishes and were very attentive. They also treated us to a glass of prosecco and an after dinner treat for my wife's birthday.

   This is a cool place and I will return but by the time we got there (1:30 on Sunday) they were out of a couple of things. Portions were rather small. I asked if the chili oil on a dish would be very spicy and they said no, but I needed to trade dishes with someone as mine was too hot for me. Disappointingly, they don't serve pies at Sunday brunch and this is why I brought my out of town guests there - wish I had known! They didn't have almond milk, but a lot of places don't. Also, you ask on Open Table if it is a special occasion and they knew it was my partner's birthday and wished him such, but maybe I expected something with a candle...old school? Good music choice!

   It was our first time eating here and we will be back. Dinner, drinks and desserts were all amazing! The Koji Dry Aged Meatloaf was delicious and the Salt + Honey Pie was both unique and yummy. Our service was quick and attentive. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items!

    This was our first time to Rood and we will be back. We visited on a week night, so it wasn't too crowded and we had a nice relaxing meal. The menu is somewhat unique, but we wanted to try everything based on the descriptions. The food we decided on was great and the service perfect. This is another Lakewood gem!
