Ronin

Took 20 minutes just to get a waitress to come over and to get water. We ordered drinks finally, but it was the hostess who took our drink order and we were informed our waitress was too busy. Absolutely unacceptable. We were ready to walk out, but didn’t want to waste the already ordered drinks. To try to “fix it” the hostess brought us a bowl of carrots and onions?? We immediately paid and left after finishing the drinks (after having to flag down our waitress) and went to Taco Bell to finally eat dinner. Also, the area we were seated at inside had a swarm of gnats flying around that we had to keep swatting at. Will never be returning back and will not recommend to anyone.

The food was so good it was shocking! I had waited a year not going to restaurants, and this was a beautiful way to splurge for my birthday.

Four of us are outside on Thursday March 4. Drinks were good IPA beer, a Cosmopolitan, and two martinis. Bar was busy and wrong martini showed up, but was corrected.

We all had the fabulous onion/tomato/ mushroom rings. Delightful!
I had the lamb tacos and loved the spicing, the tiny pieces of meat, cheese and slaw. Really delightful . Others had Shrimp and Grits, Chicjen fried steak and, once again, husband had the Diver Scalliops. All big success!

Love the ambience, adorable servers and the incredibly innovative menu. Your farm to table fare is unique in BCS and we are very lucky to have all the hard work you do to produce first-rate food and drinjs

So glad to have finally tried Robin’s. Now I see what all of the fuss is about. Excellent drinks and food. Wonderful atmosphere and ambiance. Can’t wait to go back.

Great restaurant, with lots of charm, quality service, and amazing food. Only drawback from my visit was the seating, as I made a reservation for a table for 2 online. We ended up seated at the bar (even though there appeared to be free tables), and bar stools are obviously not super comfortable for dining. On the bright side, being seated at the bar allowed us to have a good conversation with our waitress that told us all about the history of the restaurant and its operations, which was quite interesting.

Fantastic farm to table food, and incredibly creative drink menu. Haven’t had chicken fried steak in years and theirs was amazing.

Wife CF stake was a little tough mine was fine. They allowed you to substitute the sides which made the meal better. Since I did not like the sides they selected to go with the meal.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing freshly grown dinner in Bryan! The staff was incredible & the food was top notch. Can't wait to go again!

Highly recommend their chicken fried steak! Their mash potatoes are so delicious. The scallops were yummy too! Service was excellent as well— the waiter was very attentive.

First time to Ronin. We loved it! We will be back. Great food and atmosphere.

The people preparing the food were not wearing face masks. This is always uncomfortable to mention, some people do not take it well. Since the kitchen was open, you can see them making the food. It was not very comforting to see the people preparing your food in a pandemic are not wearing a face mask. The food was good and the waiter was kind. However, will not be going back soon because of this. The table we were going to be seated at was not socially distant from others, 6 feet apart, we asked to be moved and they did it in a kindly manner.

This is by far the best restaurant in the BCS area. From the INCREDIBLE food to the phenomenal, energetic service, I always find it to be a real treat to visit. Everything on the menu is phenomenal, but the croquettes (sweet potato or butternut squash, depending on the season), the scallops, the chicken fried steak, and the souffles really stand out. The wait staff does a fantastic job keeping our drinks filled, and it is a delight to talk with them and the kitchen staff. 10/10 would return!

I went to Ronin with a group of friends who had never been before and they LOVED it!!! We were seated on the outdoor patio, so we got to watch the sunset over downtown Bryan as all the lights on Main Street began to flicker on and radiate a warm glow. The shops opened and the street began to softly buzz with people enjoying this historic area. It was the perfect atmosphere when paired with Ronin's string patio lights and overall ambiance. We felt SO welcomed by Ronin's staff and got to hear the incredible story behind this unique and charming restaurant. We ordered a few cocktails, several of which were uniquely crafted by Ronin, and they were incredible! We ordered a variety of appetizers and my friends were raving about the high quality of the food! Best onion rings we have ever had and one of my friends went on and on about how amazing the bread was! Our entrees were delicious and so satisfying! A week later and my friends are still talking about the chicken fried steak and scallops! We had such a great experience at Ronin. The staff is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is wonderful - with the warm buzz of the town, the live music in the restaurant, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant itself - and the FOOD! incredible! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone desiring a wonderful dining experience and we will for SURE be coming back to Ronin very soon!!!

It was amazing! Our server was awesome, the drinks were good (I got a Fireside Martini I think? My friends got a Fall into Pieces and an Elderberry Martini). We always have a great experience at Ronin!

Ronin is fantastic! Sophie my server was really knowledgeable about the food. I tried the roasted cauliflower and it was amazing! I love the wine selection too! The chicken fried steak is definitely their specialty! All the fresh farm food is incredible!

Great dining experience with great food and service. Interesting that the building appears to also accommodate a church that was rapidly filling with a LOT of attendees not masked up. We chose to sit outside on the patio. Hopefully, for inside diners, the restaurant does not share HVAC system with the church

As recent transplants from out of state, been looking for great places to eat which reflect the character of the region and possess the quality we've discovered elsewhere. We're food snobs, basically. After a delicious, interesting, well-guided meal at Ronin, every box was checked. No details here -- go discover it for yourself. Then get out to the farm for one of their many special dinners. It'll make you proud of B/CS.

I can’t believe we haven’t been here before this place is great the food is wonderful the entertainment is great the management is obviously concerned about the care of their customers this is a real hidden gem in downtown Bryan Texas

Had the best night at Ronin. We started with happy hour drinks and bar bites then got quail and scallops... YUM to everything!!! I’m always in awe of this absolutely gem in downtown Bryan. Can’t wait for my next visit

It was my wife and I’s anniversary and her birthday. I asked for a simple request of flowers and a hand written note for our reservation because my wife loves that kind of thing. Ronin had a rose and a note at the table when we sat down and it was perfect! The food was even better than the last time we ate there. Service was impeccable! All in all, one of my favorite places to take my wife to eat!

Great experience from start to finish...from crafted cocktails to intriguing appetizers and delicious main courses. Staff is friendly as knowledgeable and the food is simply amazing. The perfect way to celebrate!

We had an amazing time at Ronin. The atmosphere was fun and interesting with a historical look mixed with eclectic decor. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The food was all amazing and tasty. The drinks were yummy. It was an ideal environment to build relationship with our friends. We hope to go back as many times as possible.

Food was delicious! The atmosphere was great with live music. Overall, the experience was slightly underwhelming. Would try this place again!
