   Ordered the seafood in a curry, saffron sauce and it was phenomenal. Should be rated with a Michelin Star! Best dinner in ages. Everything was delicious. Their tapas has large plates and is filling.

   We started with the pork belly appetizer and crab ball bisque and they were delicioso! Then we shared the paella which was savory. We shared a pitcher of sangria which was very tasty. We finished by sharing a strawberry flan and I probably could have eaten 2 of them by myself, very scrumptious. The service was very attentive. I was famished when I arrived and could have eaten the whole paella for two by myself, so the portions aren't like Cheesecake Factory, but, ample for the typical diner. I will go back to try some of their other savory dishes!

   Incredible food and nice ambiance, I would recommend anyone who is looking for a romantic dinner date. Everything that I ordered here has delicious flavors. I felt like I was eating at the Ritz Carlton. I’ll be back when I pass by Half Moon Bay again!

   Very delicious food and 5 star presentation. Small restaurant but has big flavors. I believe this is the best Spanish restaurant in all California. Can’t wait to come back and try more delicious tapas.

   Our expectations were exceeded as we had a fabulous dining experience last Friday evening at Romesco Bistro. We began with ceviche and house made sangria, continued with an amazing and beautiful fish entree, paella, and two beautiful deserts prepared by chef Felix. He made a point to converse with us at our table. This was our first visit to Romesco Bistro, and was the best dinner we have eaten since moving to the coast. We will be regulars at this special restaurant.

   We found this place looking for a Soanish restaurant in Half Moon Bay and we were not disappointed. We had the Patatas Brava, croquetas, churrasco and the Creme Brulee. I cant wait to visit again. The Owner and chef offers delicious plates with a beautiful presentation. Maria Isabella provided excellent service and was very friendly. We will return.

   I have to preface this review with the note that we went during Pumpkin Festival. I made the reservation on Open Table a couple hours before the actual reservation time. First impression, the place is quaint and has lively decor. About 10-15 tables I think were there. My daughter and I waited to be acknowledged at the door. After a few minutes of standing there it became clear they were overwhelmed because they did not acknowledge us until we went up to the bar (about 4 mins). They did clear a table for us immediately after acknowledging us and we sat down. Another 5-7 minutes went by before we received water or menus. The people were very friendly but it was clear that this dinner was going to be a long process due to understaffing. I started looking around and realized that only one table in the restaurant had food. After another 5-7 minutes of no one coming over, we left. My child and I had worked all day at Pfest and were starving, we could not bear the wait for service. By looks of the menu, I bet this place rocks on a regular day. But, for PFest, when over 30,000 people come to HMB and need to eat because traffic is so bad getting out, they needed way more staff.

   Good food, very tasty! Service was okay, great that it opened straight through dinner on Sunday! just kind of pricey since it’s lacking of ambiance, almost same pricing as La Costanera which is a beachfront tapas restaurant! I rather spend money there since it has the most amazing view. Nevertheless, Romesco does have very complex, favorable tapas, and you can just walk-in in the middle of the day without waiting

   I don’t remember if I wrote a review for Romesco last fall. We were there on Sept 24. There were 9 of us. I was looking forward to dinner with some of my relatives who were in town for a wedding. There were mixed reviews. Some of our group were happy with their dinners. My husband thought his dish was ok. The older server encouraged me to order the paella saying it is really good and a specialty, so I ordered it. It was not mediocre, it was awful!!! What little seafood there was was small and dried up! I have eaten delicious paella in Barcelona; this was awful. My thought at the time was that the paella must have been been leftover and reheated at least once. I would not recommend this restaurant.

    This is the best food in the Bay Area. The food was outstanding, Flavorful, and beautiful. Service was friendly. Ambiance was like being in Spain. The whole restaurant is very clean even the kitchen, You could see it through the open door. I would recommend the Fish of the day it’s very fresh and flavorful, It’s for two even for three it was a big fish. I will come back to try more food.
