Romano's Macaroni Grill - Virginia Beach
No complaints. The food was fabulous, our server was attentive and service was quick!
Great food and atmosphere. The customer service was prompt and very courteous.
Husband ordered chicken marsala and it was very good, I ordered see tortellacci with butternut squash and it was amazing. My son always loves the adult portion of macaroni and cheese! Fresh bread and dipping oil is always a plus!
Waiter who brought fresh bread and kept the drinks coming. The food took a little bit of time but, it arrived piping hot! Everything was just wonderful.
We are from Maine and for the past 19 years we’ve celebrated at Macaroni Grill with my son. Now he’s in the Air Force here in Virginia and he celebrated his 20th birthday. Life is good
Great food and service. A bit expensive for Italian fare.
Going away dinner
I loved my waiter, she was very responsive, respectful, and efficient. I can’t remember her name but she’s a great worker
Great waitress, terrible hostess service. Waited in front for a seat, which took over 7 minutes for them to acknowledge we were there.
Very good food. Pleasant wait staff
The food and service was outstanding. We love Romano's Macaroni Grill and are so glad it survived the shutdown. We did a late dinner, so the restaurant was quiet. We start with the appetizer, then salad then entrees. My date had the spaghetti and meatballs which he loved , while I had the fettucine alfredo. Loved it!
Father’s Day. Food was all cold. Hardly anyone in the restaurant and we were served cold food
They did not honor my reservation I made so I wasn’t able to enjoy. If they aren’t taking reservations they need to make sure that you are not allowed to make them. I was highly disappointed because we had to wait another 45 minutes to eat somewhere Wales because I wasn’t and will not ever eat there again
Good food. Great service. Very nice atmosphere for a family dinner.
They have done a very good job of social distancing and sanitizing. I felt very comfortable and the food as always was great.
Over the last 10-15 years, this restaurant has gone the wrong way.
We listed that it was for a birthday in open table and no mention of the birthday was made. All but one person received their food at the same time. That persons food didn’t come out until the rest of the family’s as 75% done with their food and had to be asked about twice.
Celebrating my husband’s birthday. Everything was lovely.
My sever waited to tell us that certain items was out til once we place them my lamb was hurt burnt the asparagus was burnt my husband steak was old I felt like they could have dnt better
I know we went on 2/14 but we had reservations for 6:45 pm for a month before the event. Our waitress was so busy that it took more than 30 minutes just to get the bread out and my husband was served a bourbon and coke that looked more like bourbon over rocks. Eventually, after 45 minutes, we had to call the manager over. Finally, we were served our salads and then another 30 minutes before our food came out. My husband said his was good but I had chicken scallopini and it was the worst. After almost $100 I couldn't wait to get out of there. I won't be back there anytime soon, maybe ever.
Valentines and booked reservation for 6:00. Arrived early waitress took order, drives came at 6:45, ordered food at 6:45 brought to table at 7:30. Sorry but that was ridiculous. Meal was cold which I feel they forgot our food.
No refills and food was so bad. Not sure how you can ruin pasta. Totally ruined our Valentines Day.
Will not be back!
As always, my wife and I experienced a fantastic meal and the service was amazing.
Good food at a decent price. Will definitely go back.
We had reservations for Christmas dinner at 6pm. We waited for 30 mins after to be sat,
It was Christmas night and the desk area was chaotic but the staff was managing quite well. Even with a reservation we had to wait about 20 minutes which was not a bad wait considering how many people were trying to get a table. The food was much better than I remembered from my last visit so I will be back. Again I really commend the staff for handling the huge crowd at the desk and in the kitchen the cooks were really moving fast. WE could see them from our table and the food came out hot. delicious, and timely.
FOOD WAS HORRIBLE!!!! TOMATO SAUCE TASTED LIKE WATER!!!!
Had reservations, still a wsit. hostess not welcoming or happy. Waitress was outstanding.
We were seated quickly. Food was served quickly. Our server Holley was great. Very warm and helpful. Great meal. Thank you
Appetizers arrived at same time and after entre was brought. The food was not good, my kids chicken entre was way over spiced for a child. We had to feed them dinner when we got home. Waitress was nice and did her best, this was a kitchen issue.
We had Thanksgiving dinner there for the second time. The food was great (better than last time) and portions were plentiful. Definitely better than some of the other restaurants I’ve experienced for Thanksgiving. The only thing missing was cranberry sauce. Please get some cranberry sauce next time! Other than that, everything was great! Our server, Krista was FANTASTIC - charming, personable and offered outstanding service. The manager was wonderful as well. We would definitely go back!
First I will start by saying I really love Macaroni Grill when you stick to their traditional menu. My family made reservations for Thanksgiving and we all ordered the Traditional Thanksgiving meal option for 24.99. Caesar Salad and mashed potatoes were the only enjoyable things on the plate. Oh and the cheesecake was really good. Crispy Brussell sprouts were awful and I love Brussells normally..Turkey was so so. Stuffing had absolutely no flavor....we decided to take a break from cooking at home for Thanksgiving for the first time, and Macaroni Grill was a really disappointing choice..should have ordered off the menu instead. It was Really over priced for a not so good meal. Service was excellent though.
The restaurant was freezing cold. It was raining outside so being cold inside made that worse.
The food came out before we finished our soup/salad. Soup was too salty. Salad had brown lettuce.
The food was cold: it looked like the pasta was pre-cooked and either sat under a warming lamp or had warm sauce poured over it prior to being served.
I haven’t been here in about 10 Years and was very disappointed.
Very busy on a Saturday night. Recommend Open Table for a reservation. Food was very good. Waitress was outstanding. A little noisy but still a great night.
Family dinner! We talk a lot and the waitress was so patient with us! Food was great!
We enjoyed the food and service.
It was a wonderful time. My husbands 61st birthday. The only complaint I had was that the bread was over baked and quite hard and the lobster bisque had no lobster in it. My sons shrimp scampi had great flavor and my husband was very pleased with his chicken marcella.
Ryan our server was great but she seemed to be spread thin. Didn’t look like the staff was working as a team. Could visibly see some staff bickering in the kitchen. Also was not a fan of the food.
Great service and food!
Best service and food, I have had in years ! Our server Allysa was outstanding ! She was super efficient and friendly and was great with our family !
Great place! Atmosphere is cozy and great place for a quiet dinner or celebrate an occasion! Food is DELICIOUS!
Excellent experience. Service was really good and the food was outstanding and came out in a timely matter. Will definitely be back.
