Romano's Macaroni Grill - Summerlin
Waiter was very friendly and didn't make us wait too long for service. Also very efficient. I would ask for him again
We went out to Macaroni Grill for Date Night. When we sat down, the music was playing Love is a Many Splendor Thing and it was perfect for "Date Night". The food was fresh and very tasty with baked fresh bread and a small plate filled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip the bread in. We ordered the red house wine and it was just the way I like it -- not too sweet and not to tart. Overall, I highly recommend Macaroni Grill.
Food was cold, house wine $11 a glass was pricey for what it was, tasted like cheap wine but waiter suggested it and the menu had not downloaded on my screen yet. It was just ok. I’m not thinking we will return.
It was just alright. Nothing special. The waitress was super nice though.
Drove all the way to Las Vegas from Los Angeles to have the best pasta penne rústica great service!!
Food was absolutely disgusting couldn't even finish it they didn't offer to replace the meal so we just paid and left
Food was amazing and the waiter was outstanding and very customer service oriented. Customer satisfied indeed!
Received a dirty glass (dried soda spots and lemon pulp on the inside among who knows what else) with my sparkling water. I ended up drinking straight from the bottle. My husband’s gin and tonic barely had any gin. Our appetizer was the spinach and artichoke dip and it was absolutely disgusting. I tried a bite and couldn’t stomach it at all. My husband also thought it was gross. We were so turned off, we cancelled our dinner order and left.
Set my reservation for 7:45 pm, ended waiting an hour to be seated and still had another 30 minute wait ahead of us. We just went somewhere else. Ridiculous. No updates or anything either.
They did not honor the reservation and made us wait over an hour before we left.
New Year’s Eve dinner
We were surprised to be able to get a table this day, as everything else was booked, however we were able to, now we know why. I had never tried this restaurant, but assumed it would be good given it is a chain that continues to survive.
The waiter was oblivious and semi-rude. His facial expressions indicated his disdain for working (not sure if it was only that night)...He would take an order (drinks/appetizer/main dish/dessert) and just quickly and abruptly walk away. Then he would drop the dish and do the same. Example, left me spaghetti but I had to chase him down for parmesan cheese, which arrived 5 minutes late. He dropped my coffee for dessert but no spoon.
The restaurant was way too busy attending to delivery drivers than the actual guests in attendance. Despite having a reservation, we were made to wait, as the restaurant was being "slammed" (per the host) and it was obvious they were short-handed.
The food was decent for the most part, but my dining partner's dish arrived cold. My spaghetti was definitely overcooked. The dessert (Tirmisu) was soggy and not good.
The food was decent, but all in all, not an ideal dining experience.
Made a reservation and had to wait at least 20 minutes after we arrived. Didn’t make sense since they are at 25% capacity, so obviously mismanaged the reservations. Also, could not get a drink while we waited nor would they let us near the bar even though we were a family of four people who are all likely Covid free and would have maintained appropriate distance. Once we were seated, all was good. Wait staff had great attitudes and were very helpful. Food was good as always. No issues there. Have noticed that they have jacked up their prices since the pandemic, which I can understand, but it has brought down the value equation, so we are not going as often or are thinking twice before we go as we face the same economic challenges as everybody else. We still love you guys, but wanted you to know. See you soon.
Really dirty. Utensils and cups were DIRTY
My wife loved her entree, me, not so much. We’ll be back. I’ll order something else.
Really good meal after doing Christmas festivities! Good prices, and quick service!
Always a fantastic (and filling) experience. Maggiano's has become a Thanksgiving tradition for the wife and I. And when our daughter returns from her international travel we will be making reservations.
Server seemed to t
rush us & had to ask the server to slow it down. Also food was not served hot! It was cold and some of the food was lukewarm!
The 1st star is for my waiter who was very nice, attentive and professional. The 2nd star is for the glass of Riesling wine that my wife enjoyed. Everything else was pretty terrible. First came the bread which was ok but the olive oil tasted like canola oil. Then the salads came which were not too bad either. After that were the entrees; my wife and I both ordered the Pasta Milano which was extremely bland, clearly not seasoned, the chicken was overcooked to a near tar, and the sun dried tomatoes had the consistency of plastic. Also, the portions were not typical of what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. Which leads me to our 2 year old son's plate from the children's menu which had larger portions than ours. We ordered him the grilled chicken which came with a side of mashed potatoes and broccolini. He spat it out everytime we tried to feed it to him and he generally loves chicken. He only ate the bread. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.
Have been going to Macaroni Grill for years. Our favorite menu item is their chicken parmigiana. They use a pomodoro sauce which we like. Service is always top notch with Darren & Michele.
Wonderful dinner as usual
I loved coming to eat here, but this was the first time the food was not good. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and the chicken was not good at all.
I have been to this restaurant many times but unfortunately this visit wasn’t the best :( my husbands order was completely wrong and somehow my order was completely forgotten:( :( !!!! By the time I got my food I had lost my appetite, however the customer service wasn’t bad, I think I’ll wait until the pandemic is over before I return
Darren is the BEST!
We were seated by a server computer. So servers were standing around chatting by it. so our dinner really wasn’t all that private. Plus prices are ridiculous for the food there. My steak shouldn’t cost $30
The experience was a very good one. We were concerned about eating out during the pandemic, but found that this restaurant followed all guidelines very strictly, so we felt very safe. The food was excellent as always. The staff did a very good job of making us feel welcome and safe.
Darren is an asset to your establishment.
Always good
Friendly staff, excellent food, great prices. Seated right on reservation time.
We went for thanksgiving giving we were sat at a very small table people across from us were very loud. Prices seemed higher and my pasta Milano which I love wasn’t as good as usual. I missed the grated parm cheese
Great service awesome food.
Was super busy but the staff was delightful and accommodating. They handled the volume well and our waitress was class A.
Food was great and service was great too. Would recommend it for sure.
The stuffed Mushrooms are the best! Great Service!
Food didn't taste the same, tasted rather weird. Something that should of been bold and savory was more sweet and weird .
Came in for my 40th birthday we had a great time we were probably the loud ones singing happy birthday well off key :-) staff was amazing and food was awesome. Sorry I don’t remember our servers name but he was great 9/19/20 party of 6 at 6 Ryan. Thank you again we will definitely be back
Wow I now go here for their delicious tender lamb shanks well done.
I do feel for this chain. In the Las Vegas area they closed done one and pretty much this is the only one left. I've eaten at MacGrill for at least the last 15 years but then stopped for a long time. When I had a chance to try it again I decided to give it another try. Well I order the same thing: Chicken Scallopini. In the golden past the chicken was lightly breaded and skillet pan friend and gently placed on the plate with some mushrooms and artichoke hearts also grilled then a light sauce is place on top of the dish and served with angel hair pasta. Well when I ordered the dish this time it was literally presented to me as slop - the components of the dish were indistinguishable and the light sauce became this creamy mess. When the server put it down I literally was speechless, partly bc I was not sure if "this" is what I ordered. Well I said nothing - as it's not their fault and thought well maybe it still tastes the same - well while it wasn't inedible, it just wasn't any good - and its a huge disappointment because it use to be so good. I don't see the chain lasting any longer that another 3-4 years as the quality, consistency, and even presentation have all gone south. If you are craving Italian, best find a mom and pop shop to support - I can almost guarantee it will be better.
Our Server was too busy to provide good service.
As a vegetarian I am happy with the choices I have.
