Food was cold and the flavors were average. Service was also very average.
The Pasta Milano was very mediocre. My dad ordered the steak and asked for medium rare, however, his meat came out looking raw. We also got seated near the kitchen and the noise level was extremely loud. My mom also came to Macaroni Grill specifically for the lamb only to find out that they were out of it!! We will certainly not be coming back if the service like this continues.
Happy to be able to eat indoors at a place we know. Service was fast and courteous and we were treated to a young lady singing! She helped add to our overall enjoyment of the evening!

We always enjoy Macaroni Grill. Great food and portion size. We always have leftovers! Join their E-Club to receive coupons and specials info. Our favorite server is Raquel. She is so nice and her service is the best! Ask for her and you won't be disappointed!
We were so happy to eat dinner inside! I guess it was taken for granted pre-Covid. All diners were separated, all staff wore masks and took extra precautions when serving extras like olive oil, pepper, etc. And as a bonus, a talented young lady serenaded us while we dined. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. An overall positive experience!
Our waiter (bartender) was friendly, patient and responsive. The food was delicious- as always. The tables were spread out so we felt comfortable. We will definitely be back!

It was nice to be outside with the string lights and hearing birds chirp etc. The food was great, the waiting staff were amazing and overall the evening was very nice. I only wish they had some kind of music playing to help drown out the traffic noise.
Even with a reservation we waited at least 20-25 minutes. The food was mediocre, very slow service but good service. The best thing about the night was the outdoor experience - live music, romantic string lighting and cool breeze. Would not be my first choice to go again based on food quality
It was a beautiful evening for dining outside. We had a reservation for 6:45 but were not seated until 7:20 PM. Nonetheless, the service and food was wonderful. They also have live entertainment, she sings well but needs to add more to her repertoire, within an hour and half she had repeated at least 3 of her songs.
We are outside dining due to Covid. Did not enjoy it at all. Hopefully next time we can eat inside.
The service was just outstanding and the staff was really working hard. The dining area is outside and requires quite a walk back and forth to the kitchen, but the staff was cheerful and very accommodating. On this particular night, the restaurant had live musical entertainment which made it a better choice than any other restaurant around. Great experience!!

Made reservations with no issues..seated right away with plenty if space between tables all staff wore masks. Food was delishes we truly enjoyed our experience
The food was not completely fresh , asked for fresh bread still received hard bread I had to ask for everything literally even a spoon multiple times for my child . Also my sugar for my tea I didn’t receive it after asking multiple time. Finally I said forget the tea and drank my daughters apple juice .
Our first trip out for dine-in since March. Service was great, timely, and all the food was great except the crispy brusselprouts appetizer. We usually order them each visit and they are great. This time they forgot to parboil them first or something, could barely cut them with a knife and it was chewing a dog toy.
So needed a great dinner out. So safe and wonderful
Food was great but the server forgot part of the order, then after ordering coffee with dessert forgot the coffee.

The food took about 30 minutes to arrive. My wife’s food was lukewarm and the plate was warm, like it had been ready quite a bit earlier than mine.
My steak arrived burned, even though I ordered it as "medium-well." The server and the manager were eager to make things right, so they immediately made me another steak, and it was much better. They also did not charge me for the steak on my tab. My husband and I were very pleased with the food and the service.
Late Valentine's day dinner on the 15th as we couldn't make the 14th. Really wanted to try their 2 for $45 special that ran thru the 16th ( per the email I received) so happy I made a reservation . We got our table right away and there were at least 20 people waiting. The waiter said they were not doing the special any longer, even though I showed him the email. He said he would honor it because we made a reservation. Strange, but we got an appetizer of crispy artichokes, which were delicious! I had shrimp scampi, it was ok, ....my husband had the chicken scallopine. Meals were delayed because it was so busy so our waiter asked if we wanted a salad so we said ok, but then was charged $2.50 and the salad came 1 minute before our entrees. Oh well, cheesecake for dessert..excellant value overall. Took food home for 2nd meal the next day. Heats up very well and still delicious.
We had a reservation for 8:45 pm but was waiting till 9:20 pm nobody called, found an open table sitting at the bar, took a while to get a glass of wine , one server for the whole side.Valentine celebration should hv had more servers and reservations should hv been on time. Did not feel like sitting longer for eating desert , got it to go!! Was very disappointed.
I get that Valentine's day is a popular holiday for restaurants, I really do. But the whole point of a reservation is for the establishment to make sure a table is RESERVED and READY for the party that requested it. My reservation was for 8:15. I checked in and by 9:15 my boyfriend and I still hadn't been seated. There was a couple next to me who looked very distressed and when I spoke to them, they told me that their reservation had been for 7:30!! They'd been waiting nearly 2 hours!!! For. A. RESERVATION. It was at that point I decided to just leave because clearly I was in the same boat as the other couple, and the staff didn't seem to be too concerned about the status of anyone's table.
I've eaten at Romano's Macaroni Grill before in different cities, so I know the food is good. But on this particular evening, the service was terrible. For a restaurant that decided to be one which manages reservations, they really need to get their stuff together. This couldn't have been unforeseen, but it was very poorly executed.
We have nothing against the Macaroni Grill overall. They have consistently treated us well in the past. Our issue was with how the staff at the Elk Grove Macaroni Grill managed the Open Table reservation we made for our Valentines dinner out. The restaurant was packed and very busy as we would expect on this occasion. However, that’s why we put our faith in making a reservation thru Open Table. It didn’t help us. Or others who did the same thing apparently. We had an 8:15 pm reservation that stretched past 45 min. wait time before we ran out of patience. The hostess desk could not manage the reservation holders spots amongst the walk in patrons. They never made accommodations for those of us whose reservations were way past their slotted time. Very poor management in this case. I hope in the future they make amends. We ended up eating in the bar, not as we planned. At least we had great service and food there, but again, we shouldn’t of had to do that with a reservation time. Not sure how booking with Open
Table helps during busy occasions such as this. We don’t recommend them in this situation because of our experience.
The open table experience was not good. Why use it when you aren't going to adhere to it? If I have reservations, you should not make me wait 40 minutes to be seated.
We've been to Macaroni Grill many times and love it there, but boy we won't go again on Valentine's Day. Had a reservation, but still had to wait. Took a long time to get our food and then my husband's food was COLD. Manager took care of us by replacing that and giving a discount. So we were fine overall but not the best experience.

The waitress was very but they had two people who called in sick so they were all over stretched and we had to remind her of our orders. Again this was no ones fault. She did the best in a difficult situation. She did comp us 20% because of this which was a pleasant surprise.
Nice lunch at Romano's, the pizza margherita was amazing
Overall it was a very nice dining experience. My pasta seafood dish was tasty , but the seafood was overcooked! Otherwise, everything was above board. I didn't know I had to emphasize to not overcook the seafood!
There was on 2 other parties in the restaurant but the service was still slow. The gal in the front did not acknowledge us after seating another party. Even though she was a server, she should have acknowledged us and told us someone would be right with us. Our server doubled as the bartender so service was lacking. We had to keep flagging her down.
The food was cold when it came out.
The overall experience was disappointing. I won't be returning or recommending this restaurant.

The quality of food here is poor. I remember why i stopped coming here. The pasta sauce on my spaghetti was basically ketchup. Seriously it was awful.
