The food and service were wonderful! I had the shrimp portofino which was excellent and my husband had the chicken marsala which he said was very authentic. The bottle of House Wine (150 ml) was also excellent value and if you don't finish it, they seal it up and you can take it home with you!

Our waiter. Nathaniel was outstanding. He was attentive, polite, and knew a lot about the menu. If you had into this macaroni Grill ask for Nathaniel, he will be happy you did!

Bonnie did a great job waiting on our table and keeping us informed on our meals progress. Alejandro was the chef who prepared our meal and he did a great job. Our meal prep, taste and food presentation was top-notch. The plates were hot which kept the food warm until finished.

I have always loved the Shrimp Portofino at Macaroni Grill. But last night we were very disappointed with our visit. I know the waitress was busy, but she got beverages for half of our table and not the other. We got our salads and barely had time to eat before our entrees came. And still people hadn’t gotten their drink order, we only got the dipping sauce not the bread! My entree had the pasta globed together, my friend who had the same thing had much more sauce and I don’t know why the mushrooms and pine nuts are in the bottom of the dish. Then our dishes were never cleared as they brought dessert. The tiramisu was watery on the bottom. I may have to give up on my favorite dish and this restaurant, it seems to be so inconsistent, we have had similar problems in the past (not to this degree.) The quality just isn’t there and the service has gone down hill while prices have gone up!

It was really crowded so the service was lacking and 3 of our 4 seafood dinners were cold. The GM talked with us and subtracted them off our bill. They made it right but the dinner was still not the same experience.

We’ve ate there several times we really like the food we will go back however do not sit in the bar. They have one person to work the bar and wait on the bar tables. It’s a disaster we have sat in the bar twice both times. We waited well over an hour this time hour and a half before we got our food one order was wrong, that person didn’t eat until two hours after our reservation time

The paper on the table that you can draw on was dirty. The food came out cold. The manager took off one of the entrees on our bill and offered us a free dessert and apologized. He was very cordial about the situation.

My three friends all liked their salads. I didn't care much for my meatballs & spaghetti . Spaghetti was ok, meatballs less than expected. A salad would have been nice to go with it for the price.

I thought chicken scallopine would be a safe bet. It tasted like it was left over from the night before. The pounded chicken was thin but tough, the cheese congealed, and the sauce lukewarm. The few capers were bland and the artichoke hearts tough and tasteless. So much for Easter lunch. Next time give it a miss!

We got sat at a table right in Front of the kitchen and all we could hear was the clinking and clanking of dishes and the kitchen staff loudly talking to each other. It was difficult to hear others talking at our table and enjoy the conversations with the background noise and commotion.

Some of our food and drinks never arrived. After a long wait we told the waiter to cancel the food and drinks we were waiting for. Some entrees arrived and after we had finished everything we stain were waiting for the rest of our order (food and drinks). What’s concerning is the manager had no idea what was going on. She approached us because of the drinks, not even mentioning the food that was missing.

Spaghetti & Meatballs: Great staff. Friendly but inexperienced. Inevitable in today's challenging Food & Beverage environment. Lobster bisque needs to have another lobster swim through the roux because if blindfolded you wouldn't know it was seafood. Salad spinner apparently needs to be repaired as the leaves were wet more with water than dressing. Hearty portions! Very generous serving of 8 meatballs per entree but really could be improved flavor wise. Needs right blend of Italian seasoning and less filler protein that detracts from taste. These ain't Grandmas Meatballs. And like too many Italian franchise restaurants, the bread and olive oil need to be top quality, not some oily concoction and bread that's not truly crusty. Spaghetti & sauce were great! Chef was awesome & congenial but despite the tight margins in today's F & B economy, got to consistently have top quality products for survival. Nevertheless, I'll go back again and try some more dishes.

The restaurant was warm Uncomfortable. I was excited to see after all these years they still had gladiola's. I used to work at the 1 on 92nd when it 1st opened many years ago and had not had a chance to get back. Our server kept forgetting our requests but was nice and we tipped him well because it's a hard life to live on tips. There was plenty of vegetarian options for my little picky Teenager. We will definitely be back

We hadn’t been To Macaroni Grill in several months, so I was happy to find my our favorites still on the menu. The entrees shrunk, but all that seemed to be missing on mine was spaghetti, and I wouldn’t have eaten it all anyway! The prices have gone up a bit, but that’s everywhere so I wasn’t at all surprised. We’ll be going back.

We usually like our experience at Macarroni Grill but this time we were received by very rude attendants and it ruined our whole experience. We arrived 5 minutes before our reserved time for our St. Valentine’s dinner and went to the check in booth. I saw that the lady that checked us in using a tablet swiped my name to the side and it looked like it disappeared from the list, but I didn't give it much though. Then we sat down to wait and we observed how other couples that arrived after us were seated first. We waited for 15 minutes seeing this happen multiple times until I decided to go and ask. The attendant didn't find me in the list and then questioned whether I really had a reservation. I wanted to show her the OpenTable reservation but she didn't want to see it and treated me like I was lying. Then the other attendant came and she told her to seat us and then they started talking between them making gestures like we were annoying them and to just get us seated to get rid of us. So that ruined the rest of my experience. Fortunately our waitress was super friendly and made it a bit better. The food was very good, but they were advertising chocolate coated strawberries that looked very appealing in the picture. So I ordered them and it was very disappointing. The chocolate coating was soft, not hard, almost liquified, dripping from the strawberries, which were also overripe. I'm including a picture because I don't usually complain about food unless it's really awful. So you have to see what I mean.
