ROKA Charlotte Street serves contemporary japanese robatayaki cuisine in striking yet informal surrounding in the heart of London’s media district.

In warm weather the glass walls open onto the street outside creating a semi-alfresco ambience throughout. During summer, outside tables are available for dining.

The Shochu Lounge is the bar and lounge area beneath ROKA charlotte street, serving traditional and contemporary cocktails as well as homemade tonics in this intimate basement lounge bar where guests can also enjoy ROKA dishes from the kitchen.

Please note Shochu Lounge is open Wednesday to Saturday only for dinner service.
Shochu lounge operates an over 21 years old policy.

Food and service were really good as always, weekday lunch is great value. I have never seen Roka so quiet on a Friday though so very little atmosphere which was a shame

We ordered the premium tasting menu and unfortunately the food was subpar. It feels like they put no effort anymore in their dishes.

Food was excellent, service a bit slow, felt like there were not enough staff. Noise level was ridiculous with a couple of tables being completely over the top

Friendly staff, waitress dropped a bottle of water all over the table with no acknowledgment, expecting us to cover the cost - a little awkward to then have to raise it. Dessert was disappointing- for the cost, there’s not the value, environment is too busy - honestly whilst it’s a great brand, there’s alternatives for better value. Appreciated the staff who were attentive and the food was good.

Ecco la tua recensione tradotta in inglese con un tono molto deciso: ⸻ I had a confirmed reservation at 9 AM in the lounge, but I was left waiting for 25 minutes at the bar, where I ordered a terrible Negroni. The bartender, who was rude, unsmiling, and visibly annoyed with her job, made it horribly. When I pointed it out to the manager, the receptionist, a certain Olga, was just as impolite. It’s surprising that the Roca Group hires people like this. After waiting for 30 minutes, I was finally given a table—behind a column. My dinner experience consisted of me, my wife, and the column. Absolutely scandalous and disgraceful. I do, however, appreciate the intervention of Alessio Mandatori, who tried to fix the situation. He was very kind and professional, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to salvage the night.

We went for the Saturday brunch set menu and the place was buzzing. Great place to meet, albeit you only have the table for 2-hours. Izakaya style food served in a way where the table can share so good for a party of mixed appetites. But the food no longer stands out. Still a nice place to go though and will happily go back again.

Great service. We went for the set menu which came with a delicious cocktail. Food was faultless and we had a great variety of dishes. Will be back! Such great value for money.
