   Rohr’s is one of our local faves especially when there aren’t a bunch of events going on campus making summer a perfect time to visit. It is truly beautiful inside and the food is always great. The mushroom flatbread appetizer was outstanding and the drinks are *chefs kiss*

    We had a very nice breakfast both mornings we stayed at the Morris Inn. Our server was Petra, who was very pleasant, efficient & attentive. We got our coffee at once & our breakfast in short order. A very enjoyable experience.

    Amazing as always. Grace greeted us, and she is more than a Hostess, she is the person you want to see when you first walk in. She is always there to ask about the family, or make sure you are happy with the table. She always comes to visit the table and check in, which is critical and important. Working in Development at Notre Dame, our partners at the Morris Inn and Rohr's are so critical. Between Shelly, Kelly, Carrie and Balinda, how lucky are we. The servers and bartenders, all of them. Murf is a classic and remembers all of us. Each server has his or her own style and charm, and always make me look good in front of my colleagues, Notre Dame alumni, friends, parents and students. The food is amazing as well. Thank you.

    Had the BEST server...he was so kind and attentive and quick! Love Rohr's...the atmosphere is so quaint and special. The food is ALWAYS superb! This is always our go to when visiting our student at Notre Dame. We will always come back when we're in South Bend!

    Our dinner at Rohr,s was a lovely experience. We started with the cheese/stout fondue with deep fried pretzels. It was outstanding. The pretzels were addicting! We had a lovely waitress who helped us through the menu with suggestions. Hubby had the steak frites and I was trying to decide between the fish selections. With her help I choose the catch of the day, which was the walleye. I had not had it before but she assured me it was delicious and it was! It was such a lovely atmosphere and a very enjoyable evening.

    We waited at our table at least five minutes before being greeted by our server. When he poured our water, he spilled ice cubes out of his pitcher onto the table on my daughter's side. He didn't apologize, make a joke, or even acknowledge it. It felt disrespectful. The rest of the meal was fine, food was very good and reasonably priced, the coffee was expensive ($4.50/person). The server also didn't check on us until we were almost finished. The worst thing though, was that because we were in a hurry, I placed my credit card on the table before receiving the bill (I rarely do this). When we got the receipt to sign, I noticed that it was way more expensive than it should be. Our server used my card to pay a different table's bill. He didn't come back around to check on us, so I had to ask a busboy for help. I wish I'd flagged down a manager, maybe they would have given us a discount or I could have complained to her about our server. As it was, when he brought the correct bill, he muttered a "sorry". I didn't tip him well. I wish I would have had the guts to tip even less or talked to a manager. Very disappointing.

    My steak was over cooked and the second time the inside was cold. Other than checking on the cook, the manager showed no effort on making the incident correct. I have had better meals at Texas Roadhouse with a better and more flavorful steak. The cost wasn’t worth the quality.

    You need to hire more people. Or have fewer tables. We had a nice server but inattentive, had to wait like 30 mins to get the bill from time we received food. No follow up to see if we needed anything else to drink. Too bad!

    A great experience, all thanks to the kindness and flexibility of the restaurant and their tremendous staff. I originally had a reservation for 6 and after in the end ended up with 10…not an easy change to accommodate. However, they understood the dynamics of college students and were able to get us in on time. It was a great meal and wonderful time with my son and his friends all because of the flexibility and willingness of the staff to accommodate us on a very busy Easter weekend.

    Excellent breakfast! We asked for Chef Ken to deliver it to our table and he did. Very friendly and engaging young man. Kelly, our server provided the right amount of attention. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice! ND Logo on the waffles, nice touch.

    I used Rohr’s recently on a road trip from MIchigan to Southern Indiana as a beautiful, quiet respite from driving on the highway. Food was great and fast, service was impeccable & ambiance was the most relaxing I could choose. I know the place from my days at ND but I never thought to stop there for lunch as I was passjng through. Perfect spot to eat, relax and stretch my legs with a little stroll to the bookstore. Now there was no football going on and it was a Monday afternoon so there were not too many people around — it was the perfect rest stop for me! Thank you Morris Inn & Rohr ‘s!!!!

    Rohr's does not disappoint. We eat here every time we visit Notre Dame. Our most recent visit was for breakfast and lunch during Admitted Students Weekend. Breakfast was so good. The fresh squeezed orange juice is a must. The waffles are amazing. If you like french toast then you must order their "Irish" version. The eggs were fresh and delicious - as were the berries. Everything is made to order with the finest ingredients. Great way to start the day. Then there is lunch. OMG! Great cocktail menu and (in my opinion) even better food menu. Again everything is fresh and made to order. We had the warm grain bowl with chicken and the steak sandwich. Both were so delicious. The vegetables in the grain bowl were cooked perfectly and the chicken was grilled and seasoned to perfection. The steak sandwich was cooked to perfection - the ciabatta bread was so fresh and delicious. Service here is consistently amazing. The wait staff are super friendly and ready and willing to accommodate any/all requests. The restaurant is extremely clean. If you are in the area - you must eat at least one meal here. You will be very glad you did.
