My husband and I visited this restaurant on a weeknight last week, while visiting Banff and staying in Canmore. The restaurant had a short wait, and we were seated after about 20 minutes. We were seated at a table of two, just after a group of four to our right had been seated. The group of four next to us ordered right away, and we did the same, ordering only a minute or so after they did. They received their pizza after a reasonable amount of time, probably about 20-25 minutes of waiting, but for some reason, our pizza took at least 45-50 minutes to come out. The table to our right that had ordered at the same time as us was completely finished eating and had already paid before we finally got our pizza. On the other hand, the table of four to our left was seated about 30 minutes after we were, and thus ordered 30 minutes after we did, but somehow received their pizza no more than 5 minutes after we finally received ours! We did not order anything complicated-- just pizzas that were on the menu. Since our pizza took so incredibly long to come out, I also had time to notice other groups of two who were seated and ordered much after we did, and still received their food significantly before we received ours. I did speak to the manager, since our order was obviously misplaced or not made in order, and since a 45-50 minute wait after ordering simple pizza is just ridiculous, but the conversation unfortunately did not amount to much. The manager said that he would give us a 50% discount for our inconvenience, although he never actually admitted that the cooking staff had made a mistake, but when the bill came, we were only given a 15% discount. At this point, I was too exhausted and fed up to even bring it up again, but overall we had a terrible experience here and were treated very poorly. Please choose somewhere else in Canmore or Banff for pizza if you don't want to wait close to an hour for your food to come out!
