Rocktown Kitchen is an intimate, farm-to-table restaurant in Harrisonburg, VA serving elevated American cuisine in a casual fine-dining environment. We also have an extensive wine list, featuring unique and exceptional wines from around the world, and local craft beers.

Rocktown Kitchen’s goal is to create an exceptional dining experience outside of recognized dining destinations while focusing on local artisan producers in our region. We offer seasonal, new American cuisine, with an ever-changing menu to reflect the best seasonal ingredients we can find from local providers. The high quality food and service comes without the formal or stuffy atmosphere — no white linens or jackets required here, just top-notch service from friendly, knowledgeable servers. Dining at Rocktown Kitchen with several different seating areas, which include bar/pub, dining room, patio, during warm months, and an event room, feels both urban and intimate.

Excellent vibe, excellent service, excellent food (the crab cakes were perfection, and the linguini entree phenomenal) Cannot say enough of the evening. A must-do!

Went to celebrate birthday. They were prepared with a menu that had Happy Birthday printed on it! It was sweet. Adult bevies were delicious! Server (Lane) was a rockstar and very attentive. Steaks are top shelf, as are the appetizers and the desserts, so that's my 100% recommendation. Will return! ♥

Sat outside on a beautiful spring evening with a great vibe. The restaurant is situated in a restored historic building with other exciting venues. Lots happening with music in the background. Nice place to enjoy our daughter’s birthday.

Food was delicious and presentation was amazing. Little pricey for the quantity but quality made it worth it.

Fantastic experience. Food was prepared to our liking and the service was superior. Definitely a keeper. We will return to this restaurant.

We had a belated birthday celebration. The menus had Happy Birthday on them, which was a nice extra touch. They seated us in the back room, so we had more privacy. The food, service and drinks were Awesome!
