Had a late lunch here while in Savannah. Located right on River St. Food was good. Service was a bit slow. But we found all service to be slow in Savannah. Would definitely recommend.
Very good hotel food. Not worth the hour wait. Waitress Jamayawas awesome but go to a real resteraunt
Our waitress was amazing!
The reservation is not clear. They make it seem like your reservation is on the roof but it's not. It's either inside the dining area on the 1st floor or outside. The food was good and hot though 😋
Went there for a relaxing breakfast before our walk on river street .
Good food but very slow
Restaurant decor did not look remotely as exquisite in person as it did in the website’s pictures. Food was decent, but not worth the restaurant’s price. Waitress was rude and rushed my table to close our bill. Restaurant was on first floor on the river walk and had some loud/drunk clientele.
My friend and I sat outside on the side walk. The atmosphere was nice. Our server Mya was awesome! She was attentive and friendly. I also appreciate the valet parking for those eating at the hotel's restaurant.
A very elegant delightful Place overlooking the Savannah River. The food was superb I had Seafood ravioli and I loved it! The waitress was extremely personable and helpful and energetic. The bar was great we had Perfect Two martinis.
We where very disappointed in the staff from the time we were meet at the door til the time we finished our meal and left.
Awesome service and great food
We sat outside. Fried Green tomatoes were great. Food was good, Creme Brule was very thin and didn't have a good crunch on top. Over all good experience.
Had breakfast here twice while visiting Savannah. Food is great and so is the service. Loved their Avocado Toast and Blood Orange Mimosas! Very pleasant sitting outside watching the ships go down the Savannah River. A favorite breakfast spot!
The food was bland and unimpressive.
Great location, really nice wait staff and considering this was during COVID , they did a fantastic job of social distancing and safety of patrons. Would highly recommend any of their salads!
Dessert was fantastic too
Food was fabulous and the setting was great. Good assortment of food choices, all prepared well. Service was outstanding.
Greeter was very accommodating in regards to our seating request. Monica was an exceptional waitress. Limited menu. Food was mediocre for the price. Outside dining not a good choice due to location and pedestrian traffic.
My husband and I ate here on several occasions during our trip to Savannah. Each time was fantastic!!
The food was great! Loved the ambiance and our server was nice and attentive.
We had a Mother’s Day brunch and it was very good. Highly recommend!
Brunch outside was very nice. Didn’t realize the tables were on the sidewalk so people were constantly walking by but it was nice to see water and people watch.
It was a very enjoyable evening in Savannah.
Rocks On The River was a huge Bait and Switch! You make reservations at what you believe is the Rooftop when in actuality the restaurant is on the ground floor. The Rooftop menu is entirely different (and limited) from the ground floor restaurant. The dinner in the ground floor restaurant (Seafood Ravioli and Chef’s special Redfish) was bland. No bread was offered while we waited for our meal. The martinis were the only bright spot for this restaurant.
Let the buyer beware!
Low Country Boil pizza is awesome and unique. Great consistency and ambiance, have to get it whenever I am at the river front
The shrimp omelette was fantastic as was the toast and crispy potatoes. The breakfast was interrupted by a homeless person sitting outside the window at a table yelling and wouldn’t leave. It really hurt the ambiance and casualness of a breakfast meeting. Although I felt sorry for him, it was also very disappointing. Much better control needs to be had as I understand this happens often. Food has been really good both times, excellent restaurant for breakfast and brunch
We enjoyed our business brunch but they were out of everything we wanted. No seafood on the menu and the reservation was made made in order to have the seafood omelette. What we ate was good, good quality and the mimosas (blood orange) were excellent!
This was our first time here and we were not very impressed. The decor is cool, but that was about it. The food absolutely does not match what you pay for. My husband got the margarita pizza and it looked awful! He sent it back and didn’t order anything else. I got the seafood ravioli and it was decent. The portion and quality of the dish was not worth the price. I will not be going back there again for the food. Maybe just for a drink. The Practice What You Peach was soooooo good!
Un plato me costo 34 dólares y me dieron 3 camarones y un pedazo de cangrejo con pasta. Realmente demasiado costoso por la comida que realmente no la disfrute.
El lugar es hermoso y la entrada de nachos muy buena.
Our experience at Rocks on the River was decent. We had made a reservation for 'outside' which I had called to confirm that meant the rooftop, which I was told it was. And when we arrived they said it was not for the rooftop and the rooftop takes no reservations. It was a little frustrating but understand miscommunication happens. The food was good, drinks were OK, and we ended up outside on the strip with a ton of people walking by/lingering by the door etc. but you'll find that anywhere these days.
Booked for my daughter's pre-prom dinner. Perfect for this.
We had a nice table with a wonderful server named Jason who was very attentive to our needs. I had the wedge salad with salmon and it was absolutely delicious. My husband had a fried green tomato BLT with fries and again it was very good. The restaurant is small but does offer outside seating and also a bar. It was definitely much better than the rating we first saw on google.
Dinner was lovely - we ate inside instead of outside. I had the special - grilled halibut- it was wonderful!
WE WERE ANTICIPATING EATING ON THE ROOFTOP, BUT DISCOVERED ON
ARRIVAL THAT IT WAS NOT OPEN FOR LUNCH. wE WERE THEN ABLE TO JOIN OTHERS IN OUR GROUP ON THE PATIO ON THE RIVER LEVEL . . . DELIGHTFUL!
THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT!
Wanted a nice experience on our last night in Savannah. The waitress was very nice however the food was not worth the money. The chicken sandwich and chicken/waffles were tasteless and dry. There was no seasoning on the food and the bread on the dishes was wet and soggy. The worst part of the experience was a family with lots of boys came in and took up 3 tables and the kids were running around, standing on the table and so loud you couldn’t even talk to the others at our same table. The manager apologized but said nothing could be done. A good manager would have relocated the family and helped to ensure the dining experience was pleasant for all. The noise and food made the whole experience not worth it.
Fried chicken sliders and truffle fries
Good food. Good service.
Easter family brunch
The food was ok, the service and the wine list was great. The host forgot to input that we showed for our reservation, and I was almost charged for a no show.
Had a reservation and the hostess had a conversation with a waitress for 5 minutes in front of us before helping us. Asked to move my reservation inside instead of outside because of the weather which they accommodated. We got fried green tomatoes as an app which were delicious. I had to ask the waitress if we could order entrees. She brought one of our guest the wrong meal which happened to be salmon. I got the seafood ravioli which was great. My mom got the turkey and Brie sandwich, it was okay didn’t have a whole lot of flavor which was disappointing. My sisters salmon came out by the time the rest of us were pretty much done with our food. You could tell the salmon was rush to be cooked. The waitress hardly acknowledged there was a mistake made. The price was far more expensive than the experience was worth in my opinion. There are tons of great restaurants in Savannah and I do not foresee myself eating here again.
Eat the pimento cheese sandwich with tomato bisque! You will not regret it. We sat outside and it was so much fun to people watch.
