We had the blackened grouper sandwich for lunch. Fish very fresh and priced right. Service seemed to be inexperienced and not high level as expected for that location. Probably due to covid.
It was fine but service was slow
The atmosphere is very elegant and the staff are friendly. The best part is definitely the food! The seafood pasta was amazing and filling. The drinks were nice too.
My mom and I really enjoyed our meal. The food w
Their margarita are excellent.
One of the best Caesar salad I have had.
Food was ok. Service was slow.
We both had the low country chowder and would recommend it. Our waitress, Monica, was perfect. The prices are a little high given the very casual atmosphere, but a window seat provided interesting people watching on River Street.
This is a great place to eat and view the water. There are cars that drive right by if you are looking to sit outside, so just be aware of the foot and car traffic. I HIGHLY recommend the roof top area!
Very good food , nice atmosphere. Very good for a couples night or date night. Make sure you visit the roof top bar afterwards
The brunch menu was amazing, including Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and Spicy Baked Eggs. From the valet parking to the waitstaff, we felt very welcomed and service was exceptional. We ate downstairs because the rooftop patio was closed due to inclement weather, still beautiful views of the river. The manager, Jessica, stopped by the table to make sure all was good. Highly recommend this establishment!
The five stars are actually for Rocks on the Roof.
It was a last minute trip to Savannah and a last minute trip up to Rocks on the River. We tried eating downstairs first. We were seated immediately however never were waited on after sitting for 15+ minutes at the table.
So we decided to head up to the top bar, Rocks on the Roof, for tapas and we were so glad we did. The view is tremendous and the ambiance has a cool vibe.
The cocktails are legit and make sure to tip your waiter and bartender!! We need hardworkers like that and believe me they were working hard last night and the night before!
We ordered the pulled pork nachos which were fantastic! Full of flavor and the chips were still crispy in spite of the heavy contents.
We also had the truffle fries just for the fun of it. They were fabulous! And there was a generous portion!
We look forward to returning!!
Food was great and so was the service. Such a nice vibe with the decor and being able to see the river from your table. Would for sure go again.
We definitely enjoyed this restaurant, the quality of the food and the service. We sat outside by the river front and enjoyed the Savanah ambiance. First time for me to eat the waffles with fried chicken! We were all happy trying southern cuisine. They brought a glass of champagne for our friend when they found out it was her birthday! ( great touch) and they pleased me by making fresh coffee even though it was pass their coffee hours. Loved this place.

What else can you ask for!
We booked for 2 outdoor seats for rocks on the river. We did not realize that “rocks on the roof” which was the outdoor seating we wanted was separate and “first come first serve. We ended up sitting inside at rocks on the river. The host seemed annoyed when we asked about the roof. Our waitress was very nice. They were obviously short staffed but she did he best to check in on us. Ambiance was nice but the menu wasn’t great. Would not go back or recommend to others.
The Rooftop Bar bartenders were disorganized and served the wrong drinks twice , a simple Gin and tonic with lime. The food taste was ok as overpriced for the quality. The waiter was good, the decor is good.
Superb service that was very relax yet efficient. Food and specialty cocktails were delicious. Sat outside by river street waterfront and had a great evening with friends. Would definitely recommend
We started on the balcony bar, had the Fish and Chips appetizer and the meat and cheese board. It was simply amazing. Then we went downstairs for dinner and that exceeded our expectations as well. The salmon was delicious, the pizza was fluffy and cooked perfectly and we were surprised with a complimentary dessert for our special occasion.
We ate outside in front. Tons of people walking by. There was a great view of the river. Low country soup was very tasty. Also had a unique but good flavored Caesar salad. Margarita was yummy. Restaurant is behind this memorial.
Birthday dinner was made special w great service ans a special surprise sweet at the end.
The crab fritters were amazing.
Shrimp and grits had a unique blend w pimento cheese.
Pork shop was amazing, nicely seared and mouse in the inside. Could have uses a few more Brussels sprouts.
All Very tasty.
Plus sitting outside gave an opportunity to people watch, which was unprecedented since our times in New York City.
Great location and ambience. The food was good, nothing special and the staff are great.
We had a drink at the rooftop bar and enjoyed the view before going downstairs for dinner.
Only disappointment was drinks. Rooftop bar made great drinks but the downstairs bar not so much.
Open tables but nobody to sit you. Had a reservation and got seated a half hour after with literally nobody there. Service was okay once I was seated but everything took so long. Honestly not the night I was hoping for. A bit off putting and thought about leaving several times before I was even seated. Also barely had anything on the menu that was available.
No air conditioning with very limited air flow. We were seated by the kitchen for our reservations. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was okay, just didn’t have the a lot taste.
Best mushroom bisque, gratin potatoes, and scallops. Great staff and ambience.
Not a lot of options for food. Expensive for what you get.
French fries are just like McDonald’s!!
Steak was over cooked and burnt.
I would recommend everything. Their food is outstandingly good.
I made reservations for outdoor dining at 11:15am. My party and I were there at 11:03am. There were 3 open tables outside HOWEVER-they were given to other customers! At 11:30am I asked about my reserved tables. I was told there was no outside sitting available. I asked for an indoor sit but was very disappointed with how my reservation was handled.
Our group was excited, we were celebrating a bachelorette party. The host Bruce was flat, and did not have a friendly disposition when he was approached about our reservations. I had the River burger, and it was amazing!
Went for my birthday. The service was terrible. They weren’t busy and had plenty of staff yet our waitress wouldn’t come back for over 30 minutes each time. We had to track her down if we needed anything and she seemed extremely uninterested in even being there and like she had better things to do than help us. She brought out a plate with a piece of cake on it, set it down and walked alway, never said a word. Assuming it was for my birthday. The food was just okay. I’ve eaten at many similar priced/quality restaurants with WAY better food. Went to the roof top after dinner, the menu up there had more options. They needed at least 2 more bar tenders up there. Overall, I definitely wouldn’t go back to eat there. Sad I waisted my birthday dinner on it. It wasn’t cheap, so to have people who came with me spend that much for this low quality time is disappointing. I’d have to give it a 3/10.
Food was sub-par, service abysmal. Overcharged on the bill. It was corrected. Manager did not return to table. A disappointment overall
We celebrated our 4th anniversary here and it was nothing short of amazing! Whenever we visit Savannah again this is a must go place!
Great place. Beautiful view of Savannah river. Good and prompt service. My husband and I both had the flounder . Delicious! I would jighly recommend this place.
Loved this place, the food and service was exceptional. The vibe, the decor was very warm and welcoming. The noise was a bit much but the place is on the river so understandable. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area
The food was great but the service was terrible. There was a literal 20 minute span from when we ordered drinks until they came back to get our order. They are probably understaffed but it was a bit much.
Customer Service was OUTSTANDING!!!
Restaurant food was GREAT
Rooftop was AMAZING
The salads were a million times better than the burger. Maybe just don’t order the burger.
We were greeted by the host with a smile…. And seated right away… The food was very good I had a burger with was falling apart good… my friend enjoyed the nachos she said they were very good and there was plenty of it to. Will definitely be coming back….
