Rock Bottom Brewery Restaurant - Orchards Ratings and Reviews
Rock Bottom at the Orchards is great place to go. Food is good and this trip was no exception. Tana provided great service and while there was a large crowd with the outdoor concert, it was still possible to a conversation and enjoy the meal. We come to this location often and we will be back again
Made a reservation and was told when I arrived on time, there was a wait . Young lady said there wasn't any tables available... we sat for only 10 minutes but could see multiple open tables. Once seated. Service was slower the usual. Maybe the management could staff better on a non busy night?
Overall, we enjoyed the evening, though noise was problematic. Several times our server couldn't hear are requests, and brought out the wrong item.
Only downside was pricing. The mixed drinks were only a few dollars less than my entree, and were small in size. I tried another drink with the same disappointing, (size) result. My daughter wanted their brewed root boor, but they don't make that anymore. Was told it came only in a bottle, which was ordered, and turned out to be an IBC Root Boor, also at an extreme price (30-50% higher than expected).
If and when we go back, we will stick with tea or soda, and water.
Made a reservation -- were immediately seated -- at a table that was just the right size and conducive to conversation among the group of six. Waitress was amazing -- just perfect. Service was excellent. Food was very good (it was lunch -- just good, hearty food.) We all had a great time. Very, very good experience.
The reservation process was great. Booked it with open table ahead of time, restaurant called to confirm 30 mins ahead and our table for 10 was ready when we walked in the door. The entire process happened exactly the way it is supposed to, it was painless.
The restaurant was nice and the staff attentive. The waiter was new at the business and missed a few minor things like silverware and the chicken on one of the salads didn't come out until he was almost done eating it. They took it off the bill but still was an issue.
The restaurant is hard to find because the location is covered by trees which is great to have but you need to be on the watch for it. I hate that the mall charges for parking with their own meters. Your spending hard earned money in the mall locations and they slap you with the parking meters....insulting but not the fault of the restaurant.
Nothing super special about this chain restaurant but everything is decent enough. Prices are slightly high ($10 for a short margarita that was mostly ice) but there are more affordable options if you look for them. Location is the only reason we eat there when we're at the Orchard for other reasons.
We had a good time with our mom and her significant other for Mother's Day. Good beer for the men, good food and atmosphere for the ladies. Good service. Good bathrooms. Good availability for busy busy Mother's Day last minute reservations. Would come again.
We made reservations earlier in the day. When we arrived we waited about 15 minutes to be seated which is not bad compared when we haven't made reservations. Our service was a little slow to start. We had what would call a small issue with how the food was prepared vs how we ordered it. The staff were excellent at getting the issues corrected. Without even asking, they gave us a free sample of one of their beers. The waiter apologized, the manager apologized and a different waiter apologized when she brought the sample. The did it so quickly that we did not even have time to complain - lol.
We made a reservation far in advance for a large group for a mom's night out. Our reservation time was 5 pm, but when we arrived, they hadn't even set up the table. We ended up waiting almost half an hour past our reservation to be seated, and our server seemed like he might never have served a group that big at once. About half of our party had to get our food to go, because we were headed to a painting event elsewhere in the shopping center. Very disappointing experience. I would only go back here with a large group if there was not a time constraint. The menu does have a lot of great food choices that appeal to a wide variety of tastes, and the beers are great. Just need to do a better job of actually preparing for their reservations if they are going to accept them.
Rock bottom said they did not have a reservation us even though had received the confirmation email. We were instead put on the waiting list . We had reservations afterwards that we were late too and therefore couldn't sit together. Food took forever and the waiter seemed not to care at all. Food was good.
We knew a Friday night table for 6 would require a long wait so I was excited to see that the OpenTable app had Rock Bottom Brewery listed! We like the one close to where we live but had guests coming in from out of town and others driving up from Denver so we found a location in north Denver instead.
I made the 'reservation' 3 days prior and received my email confirmation reminding me that if plans changed, please let them know.
Several members of our group arrived early but waited outside for us as the restaurant was indeed swamped.
Walking up I was so relieved that we had reservations and wouldn't have a long wait!
Imagine my surprise when I went in to check in a few minutes early and was told that even though they had our name and party, we would have at least a 30 minute wait.
When I questioned why that was since we had a reservation I was told that the 'reservation' wasn't really a reservation and it depended on how many people were there ahead of us.
Nowhere in the restaurant description or the confirmation email did it indicate that the definition of reservation had changed. If it truly doesn't matter why do they care if our plans change? If they HAD changed I would've notified RBB thinking that I wouldn't want them to hold a reservation for us and not show up.
After about 40-45 minutes we finally got seated; the food was as expected and our server was very good but this experience overall diminished our feelings for Rock Bottom thus the lower overall rating.
IF we had known it wasn't true reservations our early members would've checked in right away while they were waiting.
So be forewarned-don't depend on your reservation reserving a table for your party. I will speak with any future establishments to find out if this is the norm just to be sure.
We had a group of eight people with diverse tastes. Everyone was able to find something that pleased them. The food was good, variety of options on the menu, prices reasonable, and nice surroundings. We were glad we chose Rock Bottom for lunch and very much enjoyed the meals.
This place use to have some of the best bread pudding anywhere and we'd visit at least twice a month. Now we go maybe once every 2 month
Now they've gotten rid of their donut holes and some of the best fries around and not sure what else on their last menu change a week ago is now gone. It seems like every change is for the worst.
The GRILLED BRUSCHETTA CHICKEN was excellent so that and the service was worth the trip. I hope they don't get rid of that now.
To bad because going out 3-4 times a week I enjoy going here, but just not nearly as much as we use to.
There were two couples at the hostess desk complaining about their reservation mix-up, but we were seated right away with our Open Table reservation. I received a confirmation phone call from the restaurant earlier in the day, and was able to change the number in our party with no effort. This was on a very hectic night right before Christmas, and this worked out beautifully!
