    Forgot our chips for our meals and when they came you could taste they had been cooked in burnt oil, steak was overcooked, egg was snotty, There were children riding around the dining room on a scooter (the staff did stop this), floor was slippery. Took the nozzle off the Guinness to put on to pour John Smiths without rinsing it and it was flat

    Food has improved a lot since previous visit a year ago. Lots of old customers seem to be returning there. Nigel and Laura are great hosts

    My friend and I had a lovely meal. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a wait for the pudding, which apparently was because they were making the custard which was delicious. Excellent value for money.

    Food was really nice service was great. Can tell it had just had a renovation undertaken was just missing something vital. Something to block the sun out . Fixed blinds not adjustable

    The Robin Hood at Pennington in Leigh has become a firm pre-match favourite for my son and I when going to watch the Leopards play at the Sports Village. It's a homely place that serves tasty pub food in a lovely, warm atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Service is top notch and the meals are all freshly prepared. Going to the Robin Hood for tea is a lovely treat and I can heartily recommend it. We have never had a bad meal there.
