   Food was good. Service was incredibly slow. Waited 20 mins for bread. Desert and coffee took 30 minutes from ordering. The space was no more than 1/3rd full either

   Roast is a beautiful venue. The ambiance is that of tranquility and warmth. The menus are exciting and versatile. The food and beverages are, in my view, 5 star quality. Fresh, delicious, and seasoned to perfection, the food is incredible. The service is also extremely good. We are usually always greeted with a warm welcome and the staff are always professional and attentive. Unfortunately my booking, although confirmed on Open Table, was not received by Roast. Fortunately it wasn't busy, although the team were short staffed. This, in turn, created a little confusion and resulted in a longer waiting time. My advice would be to confirm on the App and call the restaurant.

   Had the full English Breakfast and it was delicious. Particularly loved the bubble and squeak.

   Eclectic site with very good British food. The beef Wellington was excellent. The sea bream was excellent as well. The Hereford beef was a bit fatty IMO. Service was excellent. Many Tables are close together making private conversations difficult. Like most places these days, the markup on wine and drinks is mind blowing.

   Generally everything was very good No real explanation given as to the menu re what was included was given No real interaction with anyone which while I appreciate it was very busy which I was told when we arrived should not be my issue We were booked approximately 3 months in advance and felt slightly out of it seated in the bay I do not have a problem paying for good food and service which i have always received anytime I have been with yourselves I would always pay for service anywhere I would go but the amount should be up to me and to pay almost £40 for service for 2 people should be up to me This is not a complaint but an observation that maybe should be looked at

   This place is lovely. Definitely worth visiting for the experience. Party of 3. Service attentive & cocktails wonderful. Table booked was for 7.15pm, the restaurant wasn't crowded but this perhaps down to the fact that it was the start of a bank holiday weekend. Can't fault anything. The food and drinks were served promptly so a great evening was had by us.

   One of the great restaurants, the quality of the food is "Outstanding" as is the service.
