   Roanoke has delcious salads and starters, and I'm sure the sandwiches and entrees are equally delicious. It is very noisy, though, so I would not go with someone who had difficulty hearing with lots of loud background noise.

   I have eaten at Roanoke at least 1/2 dozen times over the past few years. the food has always been delicious, and the service attentive but not overbearing. The ambiance varies depending on the day/time of the week. It’s a little noisier after work/pre-theater, and quieter on Sunday dinnertime. But the noise level has never gotten overwhelming when I’ve been there. I’ve taken 3 different groups of friends there, and all enjoyed it and said they would definitely dine there again.

   We entered the restaurant at 11:45; at 12noon, people kept pouring in. Noise level was extremely high. People were shouting at each other and my guest and I could not hear each other. We laughed because EVERYONE was loud and talking at the same time. We stayed only for 45 minutes and never enjoyed any conversation at all.

   Beautiful restaurant, but note that the Sunday Brunch/Lunch menu turns into only the Lunch menu (about 9 or 10 dishes) at 2 pm. So if you want a variety of options, you should go before 1:45 pm. Food (chicken & waffles, steak & eggs, poké bowl, french toast) was tasty and the pricing was reasonable.

   i’ve come to really loath being set upstairs. I pretty consistently have bad service or in told things will take longer because I was seated upstairs. I brought a party of eight to celebrate and have a nice Easter brunch, but the inconsistent server experience really tuck away from our time together for us.  A lot of our food arrived a bit colder than we would’ve liked. My eggs seemed that if they have been sitting for a while.

   I had an amazing time celebrating Easter at Roanoke! We made a reservation and showed up a little early and were able to sit early. Food was reasonably priced and came out quickly. Staff was very attentive and the ambiance was nice! Would totally come back again!

   Me and my friend chose Roanoke as our pre-CIBC theater dinner and couldn’t have been happier. We both got items from the hearth section of the menu. She got the ravioli and I got the chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes. For an appetizer we had the cheese curds and loved it all. My only knick is there was a martini listed online that wasn’t on the physical menu and our waitress said they haven’t had it in a long time. So perhaps take a look at the online menus so everything aligns

   Overall a very nice experience. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. Our table had scallops (a special); a steak salad, and a pasta dish. All were quite good, and portions were more than adequate. Had the pistachio cheesecake for dessert, which was excellent.

    First time here for brunch before the Chicago Fire game. Very nice. Food was really good! Service is what I really count, and they were great! Highly recommend the brunch burger and the Rib Eye Skillet.
