If we did not have to wait so long for our food, this restaurant could easily get 4 to 5 stars. The food is excellent, courteous owner and staff. The night that we were there we were told by the owner Christian, that they were short staffed, which led to significant delays and compounded by a very large party also there. Despite the obvious stress, he and his staff remained very calm and courteous. We were also given a free dish of lamb and a glass of wine. We still highly recommend.

We were a party of 4 with a 530pm reservation. There was a large family celebration taking up most of the restauarnt (which is quite "cozy") so we wound up having to wait about 15 minutes but that was no problem as we just had drinks at the bar. I was concerned that service would suffer because of the group but it did not and the food was very good. We had charred oysters as a starter, which were scrumptious. Then the salmon which was cooked to perfection and steak that came out more on the "medium" side of medium rare. If that's important to you, I would err on the caution of going with "rare" instead. It was very noisy but I tend to think that on a normal evening without a huge family group, that it would be more even paced. We're definitely going back and give it a second look.

Always a great experience. The servers don’t bother you when they see you engaged in a conversation and everything we eat is always amazing. This is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant hands down. Already looking forward to our next event.

Our first time at Roam, and it did not disappoint! From the impeccable service from Taylor to the variety of food choices for our family were perfect. Food was outstanding. We will be back!

Food is just incredible. We had oysters, shrimp, lamb, fried chicken, and stuffed turkey leg. The stuffed turkey leg was fantastic and all the food was very good. Tenesha was our server she was very friendly and nice. Food and drinks (especially drinks) take a loooooooong time so if you can get over that it’s a great experience. Love the music. Will be back.

Atmosphere is great! Love the ambiance. The crab cake was excellent although the chipotle sauce was a bit spicy. The steak was cooked to perfection and had a nice seasoning. The Lamb Chops were tender and seasoned well. The green beans were crispy and flavorful. The shrimp appetizer was seasoned well. The Lobster tail could use a little more seasoning. The lobster Mac & cheese was just ok. Stay away from the truffle fries, both orders were cold. Overall the food was a bit and I will go back again because the vibe was great!

Our group of eight was extremely pleased with our experience!! From appetizers(char grilled oysters, lobster bites, barbecued shrimp, Candy wings and garlic bread were extraordinary. Steak, pasta and crab cakes and lobster mac also awesome. Make sure to try the banana bread pudding!! Exceptional service is also provided.

We decided to try Roam based on the story behind it and the menu looked amazing! Located on busy 34th Street, we almost missed it as the sign was for the motel it sits in front of. Good news is there’s parking right there! We walked i and we’re a little taken aback by how small it is, but we’re immediately greeted and shown to our table. We were on a bench table and one suggestion we had was for a few pillows in back to help sit closer to the table. Riley our server( and bar tender) was attentive and fun and brought out drinks right out! I had The Passport- a terrific gin martini!! We ordered the pork chops, lamb chops and steak along with Mac n chees , chili scalloped potatoes and asparagus- all were really delicious - the potatoes won best of the night for a really uniquely delicious taste! We’ll be back!! Had leftovers too

Roams is one of my fans restaurants. My children and I eat there weekly and my friends and I go often as well. Their candied chicken wings are great! I do wish they would put them back on the regular menu not just the happy hour menu. For dinner I always get the black and blu steak med rare which is delicious and comes with fries! Please ask for aioli sauce to dip them in you won’t be disappointed! The char grilled oysters are a must! My little girl always gets the three cheese Mac & cheese. The banana bread dessert is a perfect way to complete your dinner. You also can bring your own bottle of wine for a $15 corking fee. Josh is a very talented chef! The staff there is fantastic! Riley the bartender does a great job keeping the drinks coming and Tina is one of our favorite waitresses. She is always on top of her game! Please do yourself a fabulous and visit this family owned business!

Arrived at 6 and the restaurant was half full. Intimate setting and comfortable. By 7 it was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other. The food was below average for 2 of us. Pork chops weee so tough that the kitchen took them back and comp’d us. The lamb chops were ok but not great flavor. Others split a steak and enjoyed there entree. French fries were soggy and potatoes were soggy. Better to spend the money at 1200 Chophouse or another fine steakhouse. Pass over Roam!

Excellent food and service. Avocado toast w/egg salad was amazing. Shrimp and grits a whole meal. Owner, Christain, and server, Taylor, were on top of all orders and drinks will go back to try their food truck menu
