    The bar seating is very nice and the appetizer dishes were really good. These included the tartar, gravlax, and scallops. The main dishes, beef cheek ragu, and duck breast were very average. Not the level I would have expected from a place with this reputation. Service was excellent.

    Fantastic food & drinks, menu was nice not too many options but everything was sooo good. Big cocktail & negroni menu, everything we tried was also really good. Don't skip on dessert, whole menu was really well thought out and executed.

    Wonderful experience! The staff was so kind and caring, the food was delicious and the ambiance was cool while being quiet enough for a conversation! The next time I’m in Ottawa, I will return to Riviera!

    It was my first time at Riviera restaurant and that will not be the last one! We were sit at the bar a front of the chef and it was incredible! The food was great and the services was wonderful ! Thanks to everyone 💖

    I have eaten at Riviera twice in the past month at the invitation of friends. While the food is tasty it was not served hot enough. I was disappointed.

    A True Gem on Sparks Street I had the pleasure of dining at Riviera for the first time last night, and it absolutely exceeded all expectations. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with a level of service that is both attentive and effortless. The team knows how to make you feel welcome without being intrusive. The space itself is simply stunning—elegant, moody, and refined, with a character that feels far more cosmopolitan than what one might typically associate with Ottawa. It’s easy to forget where you are. And the food—wow. Every dish was beautifully crafted and full of flavour, with a perfect balance of creativity and comfort. You can tell there’s serious talent in the kitchen. I spent a wonderful evening there with friends, and it’s safe to say this won’t be my last visit. Riviera is an experience worth repeating. Ottawa is lucky to have a spot like this.

    Will drive from Montreal just to eat there :) That seafood tower is phenomenal! Photobooth makes for great memories. Bar menu should include Clamato plz
