   It was our first visit and we liked the ambiance and overall atmosphere. Our server was excellent. I would say our appetizers were very good. My main course of Pappardelle were not hot. My wife had the halibut and the fish was good but the sides could have been more plentiful. Value for the money not very good.

   Always a great experience! From casual wait staff to high end cuisine and an ambiance that makes you feel transported to another city for a night out, this restaurant nails it everytime! Great mocktail list for the dry guy! From lobster spaghetti to the Riv burger, nothing disappoints!

   It was a great experience. Went there for my birthday and wasn’t disappointed! The food was amazing and the non alcoholic drinks (although very sour) were very good and I was happy they were just as pretty as the alcoholic ones. 10/10 experience. A birthday I won’t forget!

   Three of the four of us were celebrating our birthdays. We had cocktails before dinner. There were so many options that it took us forever to choose. The cocktails were very good although the smokiness of the special was too smoky. For starters, we had the asparagus and the octopus. The asparagus was really fresh and awesome. The octopus was good but a bit tough. For dinner we had the halibut and lobster pasta; both were excellent. For dessert, we had the pavlova, panna cotta and opera cake. All the desserts were delicious. Our ranking of how good they were are as listed. The service was very good. The server was very knowledgeable of all the menu items, in particular, the cocktails and wine. I did ask another server for more bread at dinner which never came. The restaurant interior was very nice but it was very noisy. The dinner music was far too loud, and while great to listen to, was not a good choice for dinner music. We heard set of music by Madonna, The Rolling Stones and David Bowie. Between the noise of people talking and the music, it was difficult to talk to each other. It was difficult to hear the descriptions of the menu items from the server. We had ordered a wedge salad but the server mustn’t have heard the order because it didn’t come. Overall, it was a very good dining experience. My only suggestion is to lower the noise level somehow.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Riviera. The service is excellent! Quite a small menu but nice choices. A great place for a special occasion.
