We always enjoy going to Riviera Grill every time we are in Nuevo Vallarta. Alejandro is our favorite waiter and we have been there enough that he remembers us now.

Went there for a romantic evening - not to be seated next to a trampoline and kids play structure. Probably would have been a completely different experience if we took the kids but not at all what we were looking for that night. Actually got up and left half way through as it was so noisy and not how we wanted to spend our evening.

Service is ok, atmosphere pleasant. Food above average, good fajitas and crab cakes. The beet salad was beet chips and some cooked rolled beets, a real disappointment as it reads much better. Drink prices absurd, we were billed $180 pesos per margarita, small glass and not a premium tequila. Best part is the kids play area.

Within easy walking distance of our Playa Royals resort, we loved the open air feel of this place. The food was quite beautifully presented and tasted really good. I had the octopus dish and loved the perfect way it was cooked. The others in my party enjoyed everything from a beautifully made hamburger to fajitas. Something for everyone! We also enjoyed the live music. Only one complaint - the margaritas were too tart for our taste.
