What saved this experience was our waitress. This restaurant has huge potential but they missed the mark. I booked this and said it was for a birthday. I also called and asked how the seating worked. After they explained the intimate dining area which looks like a library setting, I asked for that. What we got was hotel dining with the buffet table behind us. Barely a view of the riverwalk and kids running around in wet attire and having the time of their lives. Can’t be mad about that, but that was not the vibe we were anticipating. The food presentation was outstanding and food was good. Sadly the birthday was missed. The table across from us had singing waiters/waitresses and we had nothing. At the time of paying the bill, the waitress says well happy birthday! Um, that was awkward. Probably won’t come back until winter and will sit outside to get the ambiance we’re were hoping for at this visit.

Service and food were great. Nice spot on the river. Wish there were fans outside. Other than that, great experience!

Overall I would come back. The tiramisu latte was amazing. Getting our food (a la carte not buffet) took quite a bit of time but the food was great and large portions. Onion rings were huge. Prosciutto benedict was partly good - one of the english muffins had too much prosciutto and made it salty. Croque Madame was delicious as well; the salad it comes with was a little too acidic. It was a hot day with no clouds in sight. I wish coverage outside was a little better. Even another table next to us asked for the umbrellas to be shifted. Definitely make reservations!

Great ambiance. Loved the view but way too hot. Please add some fans ASAP. I almost had a heat stroke.

Food was mid, service was poor. I agree with other reviews, very aesthetically pleasing, but the food is nothing to rave about. Very disappointed.

My hub has the buffet and it was beautiful. The rest of us ordered off the menu, My egg omelet consisting of tomato muchsroom and spinach came out wrong (first w ham and spinach, next time no tomato) Coffee was given to us twice cold.....after the first time when we asked for another cup bc it was cold. Been staying at the Marriott Waterstreet since 2019. Ive never had a bad experience for breakfast..Until now, I will say the atmostphere is prob the most gorgeous for a meal though in all of dowtown Tampa
