    We had a good time but the service time was extremely long as well item that were order missed when order. The food was good but, the service attention should be higher

    As soon as you step inside you will be Greeted as if you are an Good Friend and everyone is So Happy to see you. Even our furry family member, our dog was given a big Welcome too. The Greeter offered to bring her a bowl of water when we are seated at our table. Another reason this is a Favorite Place to come to is the Fact that Water Street Grill has 5 things that make it our Number 1 place to dine. 1. Everyone working there is truly Smiling and laughing while being Very Attentive to any and all of your needs. 2. The Menu and the Food is Delicious and prepared exactly in the manner that you request. 3. They offer different Areas for Seating: 1. Inside the main dining area near a window so you can view the water 2. An open Air patio with a roof with the view of the water in a covered Patio 3. Outside on the Veranda right next to water +Wherever you sit, you will be Pleased. Three Special Ladies always make our visits Memorable: Alina at the Front Desk, Brooklynn who showed us to our Outdoor Seating and Julie our Server. All Three Ladies treated us like their Best Friends and it shows that they each enjoy what they are doing. 4. We tell all our Friends to dine there for all of the above reasons and More.

    There were 4 of us, we each ordered our favorites. The food was delicious as usual. We each had a glass of wine, talked, laughed a lot and promised to come back in a couple of weeks. The wait staff was very attentive, and the young man bussing the tables was very sweet and hard working. We gave him a special tip as we were leaving. Of course we also tipped our waitress.

    The food was decent, nothing special but decent. Soggy fries and the ahi tuna was not seared for the tacos but still decent. Our server was attentive and the place is nice.

    Our waitress, Maya, was amazing. I think she had all the tables in our area and was always attentive. She was able to reseat us when our original table was too small. The food was great and always love the view of the Coleman Bridge and York River at sunset .

    Nice waiter is the only thing positive I can say. Lukewarm food. 40 minutes for drinks. Got oysters appetizer after we wrapped up our meals. Slow slow slow. I cancelled my second beer because I finished my meal before it arrived. Wish we went elsewhere, anywhere. Wife got sick, knocking my 2 star rating to 1 star.

    Unfortunately, we didn’t dine with Water Street Grill after all. We reserved through Open Table, and that was fine. However, when I called to ask if we could add our 7 year old grandson, because our babysitter fell through, we were told they could accommodate us in an outside heated tent, the manager added that it was comfortable. I said fine, but when we got there, all the tables positioned in the center of the tent, directly under the heaters above, were filled, and we were seated off to the side of the tent where there were no heaters. It was drafty and cold. So, we went back inside and told the manager we were leaving because it would be miserable to sit and try and enjoy a dinner in the cold draft. I’m sure he was overwhelmed with it being Valentine’s Day, and I didn’t think to ask, but he could have suggested a 3rd chair at our already reserved table. Instead, he told us the tent was heated and comfortable. No, it wasn’t heated and comfortable on the sides of the tent where they wanted to put us. Lesson learned. Lol. However, it was a disappointment. There are so many good places to dine in the local areas, we won’t be back.
