   Our experience at Riverside was good, but not great. We had to ask for more water three times, which annoys anyone who is a water drinker. A glass of wine had to be taken back due to the amount of 'things' floating. Both meat dishes were over cooked per our requests, but because we had already returned the wine, we did not want to complain again. Sautéed vegetables were sadly over cooked. The two vegetarian dishes, one ordered from the kids menu, were prepared well, as was the appetizer. Our dinner was an early one, so the dinning room was mostly quiet, but it became noisy towards the end of our dinner and we did not feel there was enough staff to handle the number of tables being seated. We will probably eat there again sometime, but not for a special occasion. Would recommend it to people staying at the hotel.

   We were Very surprised at the quality of the food in a hotel. It is right on the Hood River so the views were wonderful.

   Riverside is a great find in Hood river! Excellent seafood and pasta dishes. A little on the pricey end, but a great spot for special occasions, and the view is unparalleled! Great service, and ambiance.

   Just forget you are in a Best Western and enjoy the food, view and service! Crystal was a great server and tended to our every need without being a pest. Very professional!

   I enjoyed three meals there recently while recovering from a stem cell procedure. The meals were consistently good and the service was great. I would definitely return, if in Hood River.

   My wife and I have always loved coming to the establishment for the excellent food and riverside seating. However, I was disappointed with the lack of fresh fish options. There is an entire page of pasta options. For someone who likes to choose healthier dairy free options, there was a very limited selection. I ended up ordering the fish and chips and it was excellent as always! The atmosphere is loud with the new wood floor and it is hard to get a table away from a large group because the larger tables are scattered around the dining room. It was not as romantic as I was hoping for with riverside views and an award winning wine menu.

   One of HOod River's best. We love it. This time our service was not as good as the last time we dined here. The young man was very nice, rather slow to bring things and not as on top of it. It would not keep us from coming back. The noise level in the dining room was pretty high. Crying kids and a lot of clanging. And, we had chosen a later time for that reason. Also,,, just a personal thing. I don't think the Focaccia type bread goes with the olive oil and balsamic. I would prefer crusty/crunchy for that. I asked for butter and I think that is much better with this bread. The mussels were outstanding...done to perfection and lots of them. My ribeye was cooked right...but for a 3" part...overdone and tough.

   This is a great place to eat, the food is fabulous! The pasta is very tasty and lots of different dishes to choose from. But they have such a diversified menu and the wine is divine. If you just want to have a bite and can make it to happy hour, 4-6 M-F, they have a wonderful selection of half price foods that will wet your appetite, but get there a little early because it fills up fast... Everyone thinks they have the best happy hour in town! And during the better weather, they have waterfront seating, and the view is spectacular! Worth your while to go there even for just a quick beverage!

   Liver and Onions! Yummy 😋 The iceberg salad wedge with Bleu Cheese is also excellent.

    We have gone to Riverside a number of times and found the food consistently good with a nice selection. It's very nice being right on the river. A good place to bring out of town guests.
