- DDickandMaryPortland / Oregon •27 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoWe went fo Thanksgiving dinner because Riverview provided table service instead of a buffet. We knew nothing of this restaurant, but were more than pleasantly surprised. Given the fact of having to service so many people, the quality of the food and its presentation very good. What I most appreciated was that the mashed potatoes, stuffing and turkey were served in a pile smothered in gravy. Additionally, the service was very good and our server most pleasant, Two items need to be noted. First, there was not enough cranberry sauce, which my wife wants. Second, while not smothered with gravy, only the turkey (which was most tasty and tender), there should have been optional gravy for the stuffing and potatoes which have helped with the potatoes (I used butter, only because it came from the rolls which we had to ask for). The upside is, that it is about 30 miles away, we plan to return for a dinner.More infoRiverview RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Gresham / Troutdale•4.8
