Excellent food, but expensive. Was noisy and busy due to half term. Booked through Opentable. Restaurant did not have my booking, thankfully they did have a space to seat us even though it was very very busy.

Great food that doesn’t break the bank and good service. The beer is pretty good too. Perfect for a pre cinema or pre theatre meal. Handy for Hammersmith Apollo too.

Very good but they close the kitchen from 1 to 2 o'clock. This was not obvious. It spoilt the occasion for two of us, who had arrived before 1 o'clock, and were not told till too late. Otherwise, absolutely fine.

Service was a bit slow, but staff were friendly and helpful - especially when one of the dishes appeared to be undercooked. Staff immediately took it away and provided a new dish.

The poached eggs on our eggs Benedict were done to perfection but I was disappointed with the ham they were served on. The view of Hammersmith bridge and the Thames was amazing. Rather expensive for a light lunch.

We go to the Riverside quite often for lunch or pre-cinema/theatre dinner and it is always good quality food, in a very pleasant environment, overlooking the river, at very reasonable prices. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Nothing special tbh. Relaxed. No thrills. Fish n chips was ok. Chunky chips were good but fish was a little over. A shame you cant order a portion of just chunky chips. Menu only shows fries.

Several options were out of stock, including salmon and steak. These were the two dishes we wanted so very disappointed. Service was slow, and the price of food was expensive given the inferior quality. Much better off eating in Sam's restaurant next door!

Even on a chilly day, you can sit at a table by the large windows and enjoy the view of the river. We received a warm welcome, food was delicious (best poached eggs ever!), prices were reasonable. It's a long way from home but would go again.

A short perfect menu for dinner before the cinema or a show. We had delicious chicken milanese with a view of the river and Hammersmith Bridge. Delightful. And the apple sponge was glorious.

Very accommodating, we had to change from a booking of 6 to 3 at the last minute - all good. My daughter mentioned that we were celebrating a special occasion so the party girl got a free pudding! Yum! Nice ambience. Really good food. Excellent service. Nice, friendly staff.

Great views of the river and very lucky to find a seat outside on arrival. Had the plant burger and regular burger- both enjoyable but the skinny fries not so good. Friend says these are not the same chips as Riverside Studios once served.

Booked table as was going to see recording of have I got news for you. Unfortunately evening changed due to passing of the Queen but staff were very understanding as I just stayed for a quick drink and a snack. Whitebait was delicious. A more varied light bites menu would be good. Staff very polite and helpful

Extremely poor service, when we arrived no table reservation had been made although a table was found for us, we were then advised that they had run out of half the food on the menu and looking at the wine prices we wouldn't have been able to afford a drink anyway so we walked out and won't be booking there again.

First visit here and would go back. We had quick meals due to our theatre visit at the Appollo but the burgers and fish were very good. Service was attentive and a lovely location by the river

I have had better meals in the past at Riverside. This particular one however was not good. Ordering the roast cauliflower was a mistake. It was dry, boring and flavourless. Sourbread was ok but real bread would have been better. It is a pity the brunch menu is not available all day, as that looks more palatable than the main menu. The ice cream was fine as was my companion's posset. I got the table I had requested which was good. Service was slow but pleasant enough and adequate.

Quick dinner for 4 people. Food was lovely and fresh, well cooked nicely presented and portion sizes generous. We sat outside on a beautiful evening watching the sunset over Hammersmith bridge. Service great with limited waiting time and food served promptly. Lovely little spot for any occasion in my honest opinion.

Despite there being a liberal number of waiting staff, standing at the counter, we were ignored when we entered and stood to be shown to our table - since we had booked. We were told to just pick anywhere. We had then to draw someone's attention in order to ask for the menu, and when it came to paying we practically had to chase down a waiter. Luckily, the third one obliged!

What a super relaxed but friendly place to eat and admire the view. I had the green goddess salad with chicken and it had lots of tasty dressing and croutons. My friends gin and tonic was garnished with cucumber which she really liked. She thought her chicken burger was great - proper chicken. Coffee was also very good. I'd go back

The menu looked reasonable online but they were serving a different menu because of the heat (sandwiches etc) which was understandable but the food was very over priced. We paid £11 for a small average sandwich. The service was also extremely slow and they kept forgetting items we’d ordered. Althing it was busy because of the shows, you would expect them to be used to that but it felt like they didn’t know how to cope.
