   Definitely would go back and the seafood/fish and sauces/tastes were perfect, absolutely gorgeous. Wine good. Only possible very slight negatives were an initial getting the order wrong (which they amply made up for). Service was quick overall. And if anything the service was a little too attentive. Fries side tasted good but they were a little too crisp - fingers required, couldn’t cut or use a fork. Personally would have preferred slightly less quiet. Absolutely loved overall though.

   Just what one would expect from a flagship hotel restaurant. I took my wife for our anniversary lunch and enjoyed a wonderful experience. To be honest it was exactly what I expected. Attention to detail was effortlessly delivered by attentive but discreet staff. The food was timeless Ramsey. Impossible to make a bad order, could have stuck a pin in the menu and been happy with the outcome, whatever it was. As for value, is nice to actually get what you pay for. We will be back.    Absolutely amazing service from Marianna (from Brazil) who looked after my mother (coeliac) so extraordinarily well. Made her feel so special and nothing was too much trouble. A million thank yous.

   To get to the restaurant we had to go thru another one which was odd. They started nickel and dime ing us. 7.50 for water, 5.50 for 4 slices of bread, and nothing came with the entrees so another 8.00 for mash and 7.50 for some beans. The prices for the entrees were high so something should have been included. At least the cutlery was included. We ordered coffee and there was an additional charge for cream…crazy We enjoyed the food and the ambience but sadly we won’t be back.

   Great food, great service, great ambience. Wine prices were a bit steep, but the sommelier helped us select a fabulous bottle of wine.

   It is a lovely place for brunch. It was a little quiet. We were asked to move tables as they wanted to clean for lunch service, despite having only been there less than an hour, which was a tad annoying.

    A Memorable 21st Anniversary at Gordon Ramsay’s River Restaurant We visited the River Restaurant at the Savoy to celebrate our 21st anniversary, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional – exactly what you'd hope for at such a special venue. The food, however, truly stole the show. I had the curry monkfish, which was beautifully balanced, rich in flavour, and absolutely blew me away. My wife chose the roast halibut, which was perfectly cooked and full of depth – she was equally impressed. The setting, the attention to detail, and the outstanding quality of the dishes made this a night to remember. We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate such an important milestone. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be returning!
