Food and drinks were on point as always. But now w/ covid this owner has you download an app, place your order from the app & pay by the app. A lot of work on your end when trying to be serviced while visiting w/ friends. Just was a bit annoying to do
Roovy ordering system not ideal for this restaurant.
Went for date night- great job at social distancing tables, temperature checking upon arrival, and mask regulations. You order and pay all of your food and drinks through an app, which meant that your only service is essentially your waiters being food runners. But they were all very friendly and helpful. The chicken fried chicken was good! Had an amazing gravy. The burger was not very impressive- the meat was good, but the bread was sub par and not soft but was more dense and hard. The cheese wasn’t very good either. The fries were pretty good but all in all just plain ol average fries! The side of green beans were very average and not special. We also had a side of balsamic Brussels sprouts, which had great flavor, but they were very wet and not your typical balsamic Brussels because they weren’t crunchy. We finished off with their cookie ice cream (like a pazookie), but our cookie was hard as a rock. Our server told us that that is just the way it comes. Not gooey or really very edible.
Overall it wasn’t bad.... but it just wasn’t good. I loved their beer selection and ease of ordering, but I don’t think I’ll come back. But who knows, could have been an off night for them!
Sadly our experience was very underwhelming. The food was just ok. For what we paid it sadly did not impress.
I love Ritual’s food and ambiance, but this last time was leaving a bit to be desired. The music, not the people since it was early brunch and minimal persons were seated, were so loud we could hardly hear the table conversation in the resturant. We also had to ask several times for water and coffee refills. Granted, they had just moved to the Roovy app for table service so maybe they were trying to work out the finer details on checking on customers. However, it was definitely not the brunch experience my husband and I wanted to share and had come to expect from Ritual with his mother. Hoping next time is better!

The food was outstanding as always. But they have replaced wait staff with an app. The app would be nice for a counter service restaurant like Paulie's, Torchy's, Velvet Taco, Gatlin's BBQ, Truth BBQ, etc. But we go to Ritual to have a nice sit down meal. The hostess spent more time explaining the app than it would have taken to take our order. Very disappointing for any place expecting more than a $20 ticket.
We had an excellent experience at this establishment. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We can’t wait until our next visit!

I understand the idea of self ordering in light of COVID; however, I will not return until that system is no longer is use (too bad because I like your food). The method may be will suited for McDonald's but not for your type of establishment.
Entrees were large and well prepared with good amounts of the designated protein. However, the overall ambiance left something to be desired. OK, but not great.
Where we enjoyed the dining, it took 1 hour to get our drinks and the outdoor band was just too loud.
We loved the food it was delicious but the service was not that great. I found that we had to ask for several things more than once and oftentimes it was hard to track down waitstaff for assistance
I truly hate the ordering process. Paper menus would be much easier. Downloading the App, then 1 person per table has to input all the info if 1 person is paying. Might be nice for separate checks
My server was great and very attentive. Took the time go over downloading the app to maintain social distancing and a covid free environment! They are really taking precautions to ensure patrons safety! Truly happy with the experience! Will be back for sure!
The food is always good, never a problem there. They have done a good job, dealing with the Covid issues. The menu is on an app, that you download, you order your food, as you go. It is brought out to you within minutes, then you pay and tip on the app. The staff wears masks and gloves.
It was just okay. Our experience was Brunch and the menu had appealing choices, but my standard breakfast arrived lukewarm, the coffee was lukewarm and it just overall felt so automated. Perhaps because that is how all the ordering and payment is now done.
Appetizers were great, the gumbo and chowder were magnificent..highly recommended. Entrees were okay, not memorable. We ordered the red fish and chicken fried steak with a few sides..I don't know if it was because it was late (reservation was at 8:30..didn't order our food until maybe 9, kitchen closes at 9:45) or what but honestly I did not leave satisfied. Would I return? Maybe, to try their brunch items.
For the prices of this restaurant, I’d expect the service to be much better. There was no pre-bussing of the table unless I asked and even then I had a hard time getting ahold of a waiter. I had trouble paying through this app, with little to no knowledge of how to fix it. I ended up being charged multiple times on my card a day later.

Having to order paid and do everything through an app. If I wanted to do that I would just order takeout -ruins the experience

We had a wonderful experience. This restaurant was outstanding. I liked the order as we go feature they provided us. Everyone was very friendly and adhered to the proper social distancing rule. This place was very clean.
Good food with taste. Ordering is the new way to come.

Probably one of the best cheese burgers I’ve ever had.
Everything was good, the one thing that was not great was the need to download the Roovy app. We don’t know anything about this app so having to download it even to see the menu was weird and a bit of a security concern for multiple members of our party.

Very impressive efforts to deal with social distancing. The app is great and being able to order drinks without waiting for your server is a wonderful option.
Had a couple problems with one server & he basically ruined the whole experience. You have to order from an app now. we were seated next to the bar & asking the bartender for drinks (which we would then add to the bill on the app as we ordered them). One server (I’m assuming the manager) didn’t like that and actually got onto the bartender right in front of us. He then came to our table saying, “hm you all look really young, and I’m not trying to give out free drinks.” He then checked our IDs and went on his way. Very unprofessional. He was fine before this incident but that really rubbed me the wrong way. Especially since the bartender was a really nice guy. Had he not been there I would’ve given this 2 stars. We even tipped the bartender on top of the bill we already tipped. I understand some people might try to get free drinks this way, but that isn’t what we were doing & frankly it was rude to assume we were. Food was great, atmosphere was good, this server just needs to conduct restaurant “business” in private and not in front of paying customers.
My husband I stopped by Ritual for the first time. Food and service was amazing. We appreciate the extra precautions the restaurant has taken to ensure the safety of their staff and customers. We definitely felt safe dining inside and plan on visiting again.
The new app based order system left me hungry for way too long and took 15 min to get a drink. I just want to be able to order.
The food was delicious. Totally contactless ordering and bill pay was so easy. Even with that, the service was personal and the ENTIRE staff was very attentive. Attention to keeping everything clean and customers safe was obvious without being intrusive. I love this place!
Awesome experience! We were very impressed at how well they have adapted to the pandemic. We were made to feel very safe during our visit. We loved too, how they used technology to prevent touching of menus or even the exchange of payment by using an app. The service was awesome and so were the food and drinks. Love this spot!

Had Father's Day brunch with family. Food was super yummy. Loved the French toast, pancakes, hash, and chicken and waffles. Mimosas were great too! Service was helpful and timely. Fantastic that everyone wore gloves and masks. Tables were spaced well and ordering app, Roovy, was easy to use. Cool atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!
I had a special 140 day dry aged wagyu bone in ribeye. It was the best steak I've ever had, for sure. Dined there during corona virus and they were ata about 50% capacity. Nice and quiet, ordering was all through an app that you download. Made it very easy and quick.
