We went for brunch The biscuits and gravy was really good. It had a nice kick to it. The bacon was good and crispy.
My husband got the French toast and said it was really good.
Ordering from the app is a joke. Took 15 minutes to download and figure it out. Felt like at the airport. Not a nicer dining experience commensurate with the price of the food. I did all the work. Should have got cut of the auto 20% gratuity.
The food was great, but the rest of the experience was negative. We had to download an app and provide our credit card number to even order. Why am I going to a restaurant if I'm going to get a takeout experience?
The hostess didn't tell us to have the paying person only download this app. then we had to re-enter everything to get all people on same bill. The expediter slammed our plates and setups on the table and stalked off.
I would prefer a more human experience. I want to share a human moment with my server - learn her name and tell her mine. Talk about what's good. All of that was removed due to the Roovy app.
Aside from having to put my financial information into a little known app to order, the menu was very limited and not what was shown on the restaurant's website. If you decide to order more than your original order, another ticket will have to be processed.
The menu doesn't allow for substitutions so if you have allergy or dietary restrictions PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE! The carafe of mimosa tasted like pure juice, no champagne! My eggs were cooked wrong (I asked for fried hard but the yoke ran a bit), there was more fat on my brisket than actual brisket and my home fries (potatoes) were cold.
The live music at brunch was fantastic. The band was world class.
First let me say the food was good. My issue is with the fact that they no longer offer wait service and ordering at the table. You’re forced to download an app, not just scan a QR code and get a menu, but actually download an app and then put in your credit card number and create a login so you can even see the menu. Then every time you want to order something additionally, like say a drink, you must pull out your phone, log back into the app, and order your drink on the app. You can’t merely ask the wait person to bring it to you. We will not be returning to this restaurant as long as they are using this system. Very poor for customer service.
Good food, good venue, over priced. Two entrees and a two drinks will run you $100 plus. That's no appetizers, desserts, etc.
The virtual ordering was awful....you should get rid of that! When you order a steak and food expect to get waited on not thru an app. Won’t be back until that goes away.
Service has become impersonal. Ordered via app, paid via app. Not for us.

Attempted to have a birthday dinner here but the service was atrocious. 3 tables total booked for the evening. The kitchen couldn’t handle allergy requests and sent out cold sides. When asked 2 different times for forks the wait staff was seen sweeping the floors. Ultimately gave up and left without paying for anything when determined the main dish was still contaminated with food allergy ingredients.
If this restaurant survives Covid it will be a miracle.

My girlfriend and I had an exceptionally good time. Our waiter, a very nice young man assisted us at Table 3. Really had a good time.
The food and drink menu was more limited than expected through the Roovy app. Would have loved to try some of the cocktails seen on pictures of menus from before Covid.
Each food dish had great aspects, but they also were lacking. For example, the pork belly appetizer was delicious, but the onion straws on top were cold and not crisp. Again, the food was delicious but each dish had some aspect that was simply underwhelming
Wasn't sure what to expect, but when we got there, thought it was closed. There may have been a total of 4 tables occupied the whole time we were there. I did not like having to use an app to view, place our dinner order, and pay for our meal. We were brought bread plates for our appetizer, and never got a proper dinner plate when our food was delivered. We ordered the steak flight, which came out on a cutting board, and two sides. We ate our meal off the appetizer plates. The steaks were just okay; for the price ($60) I would have rather gone to a tried and true steakhouse. The mashed potatoes were just okay. The brussel sprouts were the best part of the meal. Probably will not be back.
Service was great, food came right out and was delicious, and music trio was on point with the right mix of tunes.

Would prefer returning to full service as opposed to Roovy. Many other restaurants are doing full service. It’s a better experience.

We loved everything about Ritual! Our party of four had the gumbo, brussel sprouts, pig mac and Ritual burger. Everything was fantastic and the ambiance was excellent. Our server was friendly and had great recommendations. Will definitely be back!

There were maybe 10 noodles in the mac we ordered. The kitchen should have been embarrassed by how oversauced it was. The crab cakes were mushy and gross. Bad food. Won’t return.
Ritual's covid measures remove the waitstaff from the dining experience, they drop off your food and avoid interaction. You order and pay through an app so no questions about the food, no daily special, no service period. The food was good but the service was horrible. Most restaurants have normal service with precautions Ritual has taken it too far, ordering at the counter would have been better than the experience delivered. We should have left when we were seated, had no idea we would be actively avoided by the staff and talked down to when trying to ask questions or have simple service.
The one bright spot was our server who was on day 4 of employment trying his best to help, unfortunately his mentor and management were discouraging interaction. An app does not replace wait staff!
Excellent food and atmosphere. Portions are great and well presented. You'll need to use their app for ordering and paying. This is a little unusual at first but works once you understand how to use it. If you are expecting a constant waiter then you might be disappointed. Parking is free valet or park on the street.
Food and drinks were on point as always. But now w/ covid this owner has you download an app, place your order from the app & pay by the app. A lot of work on your end when trying to be serviced while visiting w/ friends. Just was a bit annoying to do

Went for date night- great job at social distancing tables, temperature checking upon arrival, and mask regulations. You order and pay all of your food and drinks through an app, which meant that your only service is essentially your waiters being food runners. But they were all very friendly and helpful. The chicken fried chicken was good! Had an amazing gravy. The burger was not very impressive- the meat was good, but the bread was sub par and not soft but was more dense and hard. The cheese wasn’t very good either. The fries were pretty good but all in all just plain ol average fries! The side of green beans were very average and not special. We also had a side of balsamic Brussels sprouts, which had great flavor, but they were very wet and not your typical balsamic Brussels because they weren’t crunchy. We finished off with their cookie ice cream (like a pazookie), but our cookie was hard as a rock. Our server told us that that is just the way it comes. Not gooey or really very edible.
Overall it wasn’t bad.... but it just wasn’t good. I loved their beer selection and ease of ordering, but I don’t think I’ll come back. But who knows, could have been an off night for them!
Sadly our experience was very underwhelming. The food was just ok. For what we paid it sadly did not impress.
I love Ritual’s food and ambiance, but this last time was leaving a bit to be desired. The music, not the people since it was early brunch and minimal persons were seated, were so loud we could hardly hear the table conversation in the resturant. We also had to ask several times for water and coffee refills. Granted, they had just moved to the Roovy app for table service so maybe they were trying to work out the finer details on checking on customers. However, it was definitely not the brunch experience my husband and I wanted to share and had come to expect from Ritual with his mother. Hoping next time is better!

The food was outstanding as always. But they have replaced wait staff with an app. The app would be nice for a counter service restaurant like Paulie's, Torchy's, Velvet Taco, Gatlin's BBQ, Truth BBQ, etc. But we go to Ritual to have a nice sit down meal. The hostess spent more time explaining the app than it would have taken to take our order. Very disappointing for any place expecting more than a $20 ticket.
We had an excellent experience at this establishment. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We can’t wait until our next visit!
