Received a warm and happy welcome when we arrived even though they could not find our reservation they seated us quickly. Waiter was excellent giving recommendations, checking with us through out our meal to see if we had everything we wanted. Our meal was over the top I had eggplant with crabmeat and my guest has the speckled trout. It was a delightful experience and a perfect treat to a long week. Loved the rose on each table.

Such a little gem of a place. Beautiful fresh flower window boxes outside... warm friendly folks inside. The staff is amazing, and the owner personally greeted us and thanked us for being there. The food was outstanding and the service impeccable.

The restaurant is usually very good. With today being Mother’s Day, we expected it to be crowded and did have to wait 40 minutes past our reservation for our table, service was great once seated, however with a fixed menu I’d expect that the food would be served quickly. The pork chop entree was served with potatoes that were unrecognizable they were so burnt. I honestly thought at first glance that they were purple potatoes, that’s how black they were… the chef NEVER should have let those potatoes leave the kitchen…I will return to the restaurant, just not for Mother’s Day or any pre fix meal.

It was Mother's Day and they were SO busy. After the great service from Laurie and the taste of the food, we could totally see why. Staff was EXCELLENT from the hostess to the bus boys to the totally rad bartender and our awesome server. Even got the stamp of approval from our picky teenager. This one is definitely on our go back list and we didn't even have to go to New Orleans, which is always a plus!

Based on the number of open slots on OpenTable, it appeared they were not busy. BUT, we waited an hour for a table and then another hour for dinner. Food was good but it was not worth the wait. They said they were down a waiter but I have seen similar comments about the wait.

The food was ok for some better for others. I had the pork chop and it was very good but my wife had a fish special and she said it was ok. The waiter was nice enough and the manager/owner was nice. However they wouldn't accommodated separate checks so that we could split our wine purchase from the other couple in our party. Other than that we would go back again. It has a nice atmosphere.

Went for my girlfriends birthday because this is officially our favorite Italian restaurant, and as usual, it did not disappoint. Awesome food, Dan our waiter was great as always, and we even got a cannoli for desert with a little birthday twist and a candle. If we could we would give it 6 out of 5 stars because it really is that good.

Wonderful little restaurant that really cares about the food they send out to the customer. Old world waiters that are professional in their approach to there guests. Would definitely recommend any of the veal or seafood dishes. This restaurant can get noisy. Would recommend a quiet corner near the bar or upstairs.

Dinner was and service were great. It was noisy when we arrived because it was a full Friday night crowd. As the crowd tapered off of course so did the noise. We will dine here every time we visit Metairie. Make reservations !

Nice dinner. Food was good. Calamari was very salty. Eggplant napoleon was served cold in places. The shrimp linguine was very good. Service was great. I was really looking forward to this dinner but I wasn’t wowed. The chef was friendly and came to greet the table. The old fashioned cocktails were great! Nice dinner at a nice neighborhood restaurant.
