Where do I start ---- one of the most disappointing experiences I've had in a long time, and I dine out a lot. The bread came hard and cold. The waiter removed the oil and vinegar bottles from our table, to give to another table, within 3 minutes of serving us. He did not ask whether we were done. we assumed we missed our chances of eating bread dipped in oil. But the bread was so cold and hard, we didn't miss much. We ordered the burrata first. The best part about eating burrata is cutting through the outer layer and digging into the creamy cheese inside. The cheese was so cold, the ball of cheese was rock solid. The toast was cold and soggy, dipped in a heavy layer of icy cold garlic butter. We returned the dish to the kitchen, only to get supposedly a new dish with the same problems. For the main, I ordered the chicken parmesan. Instead of a crispy fresh chicken, I received a piece of soggy lukewarm chicken warmed in the microwave. The accompanying pasta was tasteless. My friend ordered the gnocchi in cream sauce. She was lucky to find a few pieces of gnocchi in a plate full of heavy cream. Then, to top it off, when we asked for the check, we were told that if we pay with credit card, the restaurant will add the 4% fee that they are asked to pay the credit card company. Even if we ignore the legality of such practice, we were upset that we weren't notified of this policy in advance. Needless to say, we will never go there again. And if you would like to enjoy your experience in the north end - stay away from this restaurant!

Outstanding regional cuisine, very friendly waitstaff, and authentic Italian atmosphere tucked into a corner of the north end of the Italian neighborhood in Boston. A must go to restaurant.

Quick to be seated. Service okay, but a bit slow and smug. Food was decent, but very overpriced. Would not recommend.

We were early for our reservation, and that was not a problem. We were accommodated with a table in the open window so we could watch the street traffic on a beautiful day. Our server was wonderful explaining the seafood special, that my son ordered. The food was fantastic. We cannot wait to go again!

Solid "red gravy" restaurant in Boston's North End. The food is straight forward and fresh. Service was pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves.
