Rick Erwin's West End Grille
Cold Water Lobster Tail
The Company Crab Cake
We celebrated our three year anniversary last night, and going to Rick Erwin’s West End Grille was an amazing decision! They offered us complimentary champagne to celebrate, and though my SO doesn’t drink, they came out with flutes of lemonade to celebrate. It was very thoughtful. Our dinner was excellent, and he couldn’t stop raving about the Nola BBQ shrimp that he had with his steak. Our server, Ryan, recommended us the banana bread pudding and butter cake with peach vanilla ice cream, and it was so delicious! All of the people on staff were welcoming and nice. We are already planning to go back for both of our birthdays coming up as well. Definitely recommend!
It was a very great experience. The level of service and quality of food is why we come. Can’t wait to come back next month.
Solid dining experience. Enjoyed it very much and food was good.
I have nothing bad to say, other then I got food on my shirt!
Service, food and location we fabulous... also the variety of good food you could order was amazing!
Fantastic! Will definitely be going back next time we are in Greenville!
West End Grille is a sure bet for a wonderful meal and great service. They are taking great care for the health and safety of their customers. You can dine here with full confidence.
I made reservations for my daughter's 20th birthday. When we arrived we were seated immediately and on the table was a beautiful birthday card that was signed by each of the staff members. As always our entrees were amazingly delicious and our service was impeccable! From the appetizers to the desserts everything was outstanding!!
This was our first time using indoor seating since the pandemic started, and we felt perfectly safe. Rather than blocking off tables, Rick Erwin has actually removed them for the floor, so you have a very elegant and spacious dining experience. The staff were conscientious in wearing masks. Beyond that, the food was divine. I had the calamari & Chilean Sea Bass that melted in my mouth. I've never tasted it that good. And although I'm not a dessert eater, I did try my husbands banana fosters bread pudding, and I couldn't stop having just one more bite. And it's always a nice touch when Rick Erwin comes around and personally checks to see how your dinner was. It was a wonderful date night for my husband and me.
Brought my sister here to celebrate her 30th birthday. It was a great experience. Great service, great food, great drinks. We also appreciated Mr Erwin coming out to ask us about our experience. Well worth every penny!
We went to dinner for my birthday and had a reservation for 6:30 on a Thursday night. Everything was great...very safe COVID precautions were in place. The food was great and the service was good. We felt that our waiter was rushing us along. We had wanted to have a leisurely dinner and enjoy each course but did feel that we were being rushed a little too much. Other than that, we had a great experience!
Great food. Asparagus $14. Ridiculous price🤣🤣
They didn’t have drink menu’s printed out. Waiter asked us what we would like and we told him we didn’t have drink menus that the hostess said she would get for us. He came back 10 minutes last and asked again what we wanted to drink and we told him we still didn’t have drink menus. Finally the manager came by and gave them to us. This was at least a twenty minute ordeal. My $55 dry aged steak was just that, dry. The steak had no juice, no flavor, tough, and was cooked rare not medium rare. When the waiter asked how our meal was I told him it was disappointing that I would be feeding my dog 75% of my steak given the above reasons. The manager apologized and gave us a piece of key lime pie. I didn’t expect anything drastic to happen on our bill but $200 dinner that was terrible with bad service should constitute more than a piece of pie. I won’t go back and will definitely warn anyone else on my experience
Went for a birthday celebration. Had a wonderful time. Food was delicious and service excellent.
A very enjoyable experience. Food was delicious with great service. Sat by the window which I requested when making the reservation!
Excellent as always. Prices are reasonable for a top-level restaurant in downtown Greenville.
It being our first time at this restaurant we were shocked how big the portions were and the food tasted excellent. The wait staff was very cordial and attentive
Our MEAL was absolutely spectacular tonight. Celebrated the wife’s 50th. Our service was impeccable with Justin. Highly recommend him and this restaurant. BIG TIME YUM!!
Dine Around at Rick Erwin’s was great!
Fixed priced menu had some outstanding dishes... must try the chargrilled oysters and blackened redfish!
Chuck, our waiter was top notch!
The dine around menu was awesome!! My husband got the bone in ribeye and it was one of the best streaks we have every had. The cut was amazing and it was cooked perfectly. The charbroiled oysters were a Winner. And,Don’t miss the butter cake.
My wife and I chose Rick Erwin's West End because it was our 49th wedding anniversary. We had gone to the Salt Water Cafe last year and it was fantastic, but not open this year because of the China virus. Everyone was especially cautious about the virus protocol and our waiter, Ryan, made the evening a great experience. We were impressed with the creative menu. The blackened Red Fish was on par with any restaurant in Texas or New Orleans and the deserts were creative and delicious.
The food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding. Will definitely be back again.
Very good. The bartender Eric was fantastic. I enjoyed talking with him. Highly recommend the bar.
Server was a little slow but he hesitated to interrupted our conversation!
Don’t change anything
30th Wedding Anniversary
Excellent service and food!
My wife and I passed by Rick Erwin's on Thursday evening. The specials listed on the board is what pulled us in to eat. After a fantastic experience we decided to go back on Saturday evening. It was another exceptional experience. The staff know the menu, and their recommendations are spot on. The food is unbelievable. Everyone is so attentive to what is going on. I will be making periodic trips back to this area and will always include a stop at Rick Erwin's on my list.
First of all let me say my server Elizabeth was outstanding I couldn’t ask for anyone better. As for the food I had the New York strip, the meat itself was cooked perfectly, the only problem I had with the steak was that the chef salted the heck out of it, almost ruining a great piece of meat. Stop with the excess salt. If I want it I’ll add it. The excess salt does not enhance the flavor. Secondly the bartender needs to learn how to make a whiskey sour, it was terrible.
Always love eating at Rick's. The food, service and just general vibe ar always great and this visit didn't disappoint. Whether you want a quiet date night, business dinner or just a great meal, this is the place!
Eric & Kelsey did a great job! The food was super as usual—the bacon appetizer was the best!
Always a nice place to take my wife to dinner. Delicious food. Nice atmosphere.
Excellent food. Nice atmosphere. Got the 11 oz Filet.
Wonderful evening, always a great dining experience at Ricks
Great service and nice people
This was the second time we've eaten at this location. Both times the food was impeccable, but both times the service has been less than stellar. While we will eat at Rick Erwin's again, we will make sure to dine at the Clemson location from now on; the service matches the food quality there. As far as the food went at the Greenville location, the special bacon appetizer with cherry chutney was divine. Our party's entrees were cooked perfectly and were absolutely delicious: filet/NOLA shrimp, bone-in rib eye, and Delmonico rib eye. The au gratin potatoes were the surprise hit of the night. Unfortunately, our server was very slow to get to our table (although the hosts did start us off with drinks so we did not have to wait for beverages). We often had to ask for refills, and one time empty glasses were removed and never replaced with anything else. My husband started his entree with no drink at all since his glass had been removed ten minutes prior and never replaced. We had to flag another waiter down to get a beverage for him. At a normal restaurant, I wouldn't necessarily be bothered by this. However, when we are paying over $100 per person for dinner, a higher level of service is expected.
Very good food, atmosphere and service! Our waiter Chuck was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations!
Great service and great food!
Delightful meal and service
The filet was excellent.
Social distancing was practiced.
