Richmond Station is a stopping place—a bustling neighbourhood restaurant in Toronto's downtown core. We are committed to delicious food and excellent hospitality. Founded by Top Chef Canada winner Carl Heinrich, Richmond Station is an ingredient-focused and technique-driven neighbourhood restaurant steps from the Eaton Centre and Yonge-Dundas Square. Our open kitchen invites guests to witness the craftsmanship that goes into every plate, from our signature Station Burger to our rotating chef's tasting menu.

Whether you're joining us for a casual lunch, an intimate dinner, or a celebratory gathering, Richmond Station offers a warm atmosphere that makes all feel welcome. We believe that exceptional service is an integral part of our dining experience, which is why we operate with a "hospitality included" model.     Our 7-Course Chef's Tasting Menu is a celebration of Canada’s finest local and seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully curated into seven courses that highlight the best our region has to offer. Priced at $129 per guest, this experience requires all guests at the table to participate, with the last seating at 9:15 PM. Please note, if you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, we may be unable to accommodate the Chef’s Menu. The Chef’s Tasting Menu requires advance booking and may not be available for guests who have not reserved it. We are happy to adjust for dietary preferences and allergies with advance notice. Optional beverage pairings are available for $80-$90 per person.

    Tucked just off Yonge on Richmond, Richmond Station strikes that perfect downtown Toronto balance—elevated dining without the pretension. You could stroll in wearing jeans and a tee and still feel like you belong among the wine glasses and polished cutlery. We started with a cocktail and a local beer (bonus points for serving it straight from the can—no fuss), and split the charcuterie board. The cold cuts weren’t totally my thing, but the bread and mustard? Absolutely stellar. Even if the meats didn’t win me over, the execution was solid and deserves credit. Now, the burger. Let’s talk about that burger. Thick, juicy, and done exactly to your liking—picking rare or medium is an option (which is almost unheard of in Toronto). It’s rich, flavorful, and comes with fries that hold their own. Honestly, it’s the kind of burger that makes you stop mid-bite to say, “Damn, this is good.” Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, and I really appreciated that gratuity is included—no math required, and the price on the menu is what you pay. If you’re in the mood for something a step above the usual without going full white-tablecloth, Richmond Station is a great pick. Whether you’re on a casual date or just out for a next-level burger, it’s a spot worth checking out.

    The food was great. Service was pleasant and fast. Sat at the bar by the kitchen. That was less than perfect. The restaurant was full so that was my only option. Next time I’ll book further ahead. Noise levels for a busy lunch time was ok.

    Very small dining area- literally bumping elbows with the strangers next to you. No private conversation here! Service was lacking- felt like I was being herded. Obviously very popular but not sure why. The food wasn’t bad but nothing spectacular, especially for the price. I ordered an Ameretto sour and it was mostly foam. The mushroom risotto was practically inedible.

    This restaurant is always on point. Food and service will always exceed your expectations. We celebrated a graduation here and from the minute we contacted the restaurant, we were taken care of. Would highly recommend Richmond Station. Always a good experience.

    Always a fantastic experience sampling the Chefs Tasting Menu with the wine pairing sitting at the counter overlooking the kitchen. Superb cuisine! Extremely well paired wines. A pretty relaxed atmosphere and dinning experience.
