Richmond Station is a stopping place—a bustling neighbourhood restaurant in Toronto's downtown core. We are committed to delicious food and excellent hospitality. Founded by Top Chef Canada winner Carl Heinrich, Richmond Station is an ingredient-focused and technique-driven neighbourhood restaurant steps from the Eaton Centre and Yonge-Dundas Square. Our open kitchen invites guests to witness the craftsmanship that goes into every plate, from our signature Station Burger to our rotating chef's tasting menu.

Whether you're joining us for a casual lunch, an intimate dinner, or a celebratory gathering, Richmond Station offers a warm atmosphere that makes all feel welcome. We believe that exceptional service is an integral part of our dining experience, which is why we operate with a "hospitality included" model.     Our 7-Course Chef's Tasting Menu is a celebration of Canada’s finest local and seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully curated into seven courses that highlight the best our region has to offer. Priced at $129 per guest, this experience requires all guests at the table to participate, with the last seating at 9:15 PM. Please note, if you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, we may be unable to accommodate the Chef’s Menu. The Chef’s Tasting Menu requires advance booking and may not be available for guests who have not reserved it. We are happy to adjust for dietary preferences and allergies with advance notice. Optional beverage pairings are available for $80-$90 per person.

    Everything we order was amazing and everything on the menu looks good! Remember the tip is included in the prices so it’s not as expensive as it may seem.

    Disappointing…. After a fantastic lunch a couple of months ago, I was excited to return with my husband for our 2nd dinner there. Our table was squeezed into a corner between the tasting station and 2 guests at a table for 4. Our server was unenthusiastic even though we did hear him explain things to the guests to our side. Our appetizers were very good - cucumber salad and scallop sashimi. My husband had the burger and it was very good. I had the Arctic char which had an incredible sauce but unfortunately I couldn’t finish the fish as it had a “lake water” aftertaste. I told our server that I did not enjoy it but nothing was done. We were in and out in 1 hour and almost 20 minutes. Not at all the experience I expected and hoped for at an upscale restaurant on a Saturday evening.

    We enjoyed every dish and the seasonal tomato salad was wonderful. The recommended cocktail was excellent. One of my favourite restaurants to treat out of town friends. Present the best what Toronto can offer.

    My wife and I celebrate our anniversary with the chef’s tasting menu and wine pairings every year. RS never disappoints. The elevated butter tart was sublime.

    The ambience was excellent. The food was incredible. One of the best dining experiences I've had and I say this as someone who makes a habit to seek out high end fine dining. I did not expect this place to be so amazing. 10/10 would eat here again. If you're wondering if it's worth it, after you leave you'll be wondering why you didn't go sooner.

    Tucked just off Yonge on Richmond, Richmond Station strikes that perfect downtown Toronto balance—elevated dining without the pretension. You could stroll in wearing jeans and a tee and still feel like you belong among the wine glasses and polished cutlery. We started with a cocktail and a local beer (bonus points for serving it straight from the can—no fuss), and split the charcuterie board. The cold cuts weren’t totally my thing, but the bread and mustard? Absolutely stellar. Even if the meats didn’t win me over, the execution was solid and deserves credit. Now, the burger. Let’s talk about that burger. Thick, juicy, and done exactly to your liking—picking rare or medium is an option (which is almost unheard of in Toronto). It’s rich, flavorful, and comes with fries that hold their own. Honestly, it’s the kind of burger that makes you stop mid-bite to say, “Damn, this is good.” Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, and I really appreciated that gratuity is included—no math required, and the price on the menu is what you pay. If you’re in the mood for something a step above the usual without going full white-tablecloth, Richmond Station is a great pick. Whether you’re on a casual date or just out for a next-level burger, it’s a spot worth checking out.
