This place was an excellent choice for a Father's Day celebration. It's all about location. Perfect spot at Stanford Mall. Parking is plentiful, and we arrived earlier than our reservation time, so we were seated right away. The hostess and the servers were the best we encountered. We started with an appetizer, grilled shrimp, which was perfect. The salads are always my favorite, my daughter chose the lobster roll, and she is usually a critic of foods and loved it, oh, and don't miss their truffle fries (the best). I chose the Gem salad and buttered Lobster ,loved it This was my second time here, and after our meal, we went to the RH furniture viewing and enjoyed the design and layout of the place.

Overall, the RH Rooftop Restaurant was a pleasant destination for a birthday celebration with a friend. Beautiful setting; outstanding service. My only issue is with the entree' I ordered-an omelette. Mine was a bit soft and a different texture than I;ve ever had in an omelette. In fairness, my friend ordered the same thing and enjoyed it. While I look forward to going back to the restaurant, would definitely order another entree'. I did appreciate that we were given complimentary birthday desserts, which was very much appreciated!

Beautiful dining room, great brunch menu and attentive staff. I will definitely return to try their other menus.

No reservations online and when called, they were “fully committed” so no earlier times. When we showed up, there were plenty of tables and lots of walk ins getting tables. Reception not very friendly. Food took a long time and when we asked, “food will come out when it comes out”. I assume the employees working Saturday didn’t want to be there. Not a happy employee in sight. Nice location, temps great for outside beverages, and food is decent but can’t recommend if you want friendly service.

You should add some kind of screen on the rooftop to reduce sunlight during the day. Not much but enough to reduce the heat generated through the glass.

Our first time to RH Restaurant. Gorgeous June evening, spent 30minutes on roof deck enjoying the view before our reservation time. It’s possibly the most beautiful restaurant in Palo Alto area. I couldn’t get over the view: Windy Hill, Hoover Tower, sunset. Worth the trip just to enjoy the roof terrace. It was an especially warm evening. Wear layers. Food was good but simple. My salmon was as advertised. We added French fries as a side. Ended up being kind of a simple meal: salmon, fries, sparkling rose.

Love this restaurant! Atmosphere is special. Quite noisy because it was packed. Service timing of food delivery timing was off. Not too happy about that but I love this restaurant so much I was able to overlook this s..

Excellent food but the noise level is nearly unbearable. I asked the hostess for seating in a quiet area given my mother-in-law has trouble hearing but the table was in a high noise area. The prices are very steep for the quantity of food.
