   Not great food. Also food came out cold. Portions small. Website over $200 for two of us and had to eat second dinner when we got home. Service was really slow. Environment was ok. Would be nicer if all the trees and bushes were real and not fake. I guess my expectations were too high. We went for dinner and sat inside. My guess is it is prob better for brunch sitting outside on patio.

   Very disappointed in RH. The menu is limited very unaccommodating. Also, they add a 4% Mandate tax. When asked they said it was a California tax which isn’t true. They then said it’s because of COVID. They told a friend of mine it’s for the rent. Obviously, just a way to make more money. If you question it they will remove it. That didn’t sit well with me

   Ambience was beautiful and Food was excellent (I had the lamb chops) BUT service was VERY SLOW. VERY SLOW AND I MEAN SLOW. Took FOREVER to get our food. Servers looked stressed. Tonic water was watered down AND booth seating NOT comfortable at all if you are short. Had to ask for a pillow as my back was hurting trying to sit up straight. Will give it another try at a future date.

   Service, ambiance, and food were excellent! They don’t rush you, so not a place for a quick lunch. Definitely for special event and long meals when you’re not in a hurry and want to relax. Reminded me of Italy.

   This was our third time here (other 2x for lunch). Not sure if dinner service is understaffed but this was a vastly different experience. Service was slow and 90% of the food came out lukewarm/cold including French fries/burger which seems pretty hard to do.

   The restaurant is beautiful, service is okay, food took long to get, food value is about what you would expect at a place like this (small portions, Ala carte), overall it’s okay, better to have a drink and walk the store in my opinion.

   Too noisy but food is excellent. Service attentive. It’s our 5th visit. Shrimp salad outstanding.

    RH Ocean Grill is an absolute gem in Newport! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is both elegant and relaxed, with stunning ocean views that elevate the entire dining experience. The design is classic RH—chic, sophisticated, and perfectly coastal. The menu offers a great selection of fresh seafood, quality meats, and seasonal sides. I highly recommend the lobster roll—it’s buttery, generously filled, and served with perfectly crisp truffle fries. Their cocktail menu is creative and balanced, and the wine list features excellent pairings. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Our server was knowledgeable, warm, and made great recommendations. Whether you’re visiting for a special occasion or just looking for a beautiful spot to enjoy great food and a view, RH Ocean Grill delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!
