The outside patio is perfect! One a nice sunny day, you have full coverage umbrellas. Don't worry about being too cold because there are heaters under each umbrella. Most menu items are good, and some pricey but not unexpected. It's worth trying once, but highly recommend outside seating over sitting inside.

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) We had a reservation at RH Newport Beach for 7:45 PM to celebrate both my wife’s and daughter’s birthdays. Unfortunately, when we arrived on time, we were told our table wasn’t ready and had to wait until the rest of our party arrived. Once everyone was there, we were seated at a table that felt much too small—clearly intended for just two people. Right next to us was a more suitable table for four, which we requested to move to. The staff member escorting us originally said it was fine, but when we returned, the hostess at the front desk denied the request, claiming it was for a party of five. Not long after, we saw that same table given to a group of three who had arrived well after us. That said, the situation was eventually made right. The manager, Hannah, was incredibly kind and attentive—she stepped in to ensure we were seated more comfortably and that the birthday celebration went smoothly. Max, our waiter, was excellent—friendly, professional, and on point throughout the night. The food was also very good, as expected from RH. Hannah I must say really took care of us and must be commended as an exceptional Manager! Overall, despite the rocky start, it turned into a very enjoyable evening. The ambiance is beautiful and the experience was memorable. I would just recommend that the hosting staff be a bit more in tune with guest needs and not rely on just saying “I’m sorry.” Thanks again to Hannah and Max for turning things around and making it a great night for our family.

Absolutely stunning interior. Absolutely subpar meal. Overpriced and underwhelming. Our table ordered the 4 piece lobster rolls and the prosciutto with brie appetizers, two Chinese chicken salads, another salad that I can't remember, a whole cooked lobster and french fries. The french fries were the favorite and that's not acceptable for a $400 lunch.

The room is stunning as it should be after all RH is a beautiful array of interior design choices and stunning marketing. We were seated at small table near terraced windows with sun glaring in and it was hot. We thought we would see the water but hedges blocked the view. Ordered their classic martini and it came in a rocks glass as they were OUT of martini glasses. Really? Our reservation was at 5:45 and we left two hours later having just 2 cold salads. Service was awful. Cannot imagine how hot in will get there in heat of summer. It’s designed like a greenhouse or fish bowl. 2 drinks 2 average salads $150.
