Led by Executive head chef Kumar KC and envisioned by the Howe family, Restaurant William redefines tailored hospitality. An immersive culinary dining experience in Port Stephens, offering a new way for guests to enjoy the finest sourced produce in a relaxed eco inspired environment and provide our visitors to B Farm with a speak to sit down, relax, take in the view and be looked after by our friendly staff.

William is really an all encompassing culinary experience of welcoming food and handcrafted alcohol. The menu extended to our guests in William is changing frequently as a result of what we can source from local farmers and producers with whom we work with intimately each week. Highlighting premium ingredients our aim is to keep it simple and showcase the simplicity of great ingredients on offer from our local fresh produce.

I made a booking here online to eat after travelling all day and staying at the location. I couldn’t tell you what it’s like as the restaurant was shut at this time…. Maybe need to change your booking availability details and I was even sent a text to confirm the time booked… 7.15pm on a Thursday.

Food is amazing. Staff are entertaining and friendly. Atmosphere is perfect. The owners take alot of pride in customer service and cleanliness. This is our favourite place. We have such fond memories. Beyond 5 out of 5 stars. Keep up the great work.

The restaurant didn’t receive our booking and we walked into what felt like a closed restaurant eventually staff helped us and we were seated but we were the only patrons in that part of the establishment it was very awkward to say the least.

Our experience of dining at Restaurant William was mixed. The venue is beautiful, the outlook is stunning, the service excellent. On the downside, the food while delicious was overpriced for the size of the serves and the inexpensive ingredients used to create them. Also, of concern was the fact that when we asked for a wine list, it was suggested that while a list was available, they preferred to start by presenting us with a tasting of three wines of their choosing from which we chose a glass each of sauvignon blanc. Also, when we asked for a dessert menu our waiter advised that there were only two items available. We chose one of each. Both delicious. In both the wine and dessert cases we would have had to specifically ask the prices of the items which we would have felt uncomfortable doing. Our fault. When it came time to pay the bill came to $172. This was for bread as a starter, a small portion of duck breast, and a small portion of pork belly which was served with 1 small pak choy and a bowl of iceberg lettuce coated with what looked and tasted like bottled oyster sauce, two desserts, two glasses of wine and two coffees. Had the portions been larger, the dessert menu and wine list been presented we would not have left with a bad taste in our mouths. A further point of constructive criticism, please install a venting system for your smoker. When we got home all our clothing had to go straight into the wash and we had to shower and wash our hair to get rid of the smell of wood smoke. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review the venue has so much to recommend it and the waiter was very competent and friendly and I hope that this review will help you to improve those things that caused disappointment. At this point in time, we could not recommend Restaurant William.

What a hidden gem in Port Stephens....Murrays is very well known but Restaurant William is on another level. Food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented and the service was superb....Nic was incredibly attentive without being overbearing. Can't recommend Restaurant William highly enough if you are looking for something special

Restaurant William is the best restaurant in the Newcastle/port Stephens area. We’ve been to many places since moving here and nothing even comes close!

Celebration for my birthday. The night was amazing. Fantastic knowledge staff. The food was amazing!!!!!! Best in the area!!!! It really was a lovely experience from start to finish. I highly recommend.
