In 1993, Toqué! opened featuring local produce: a showcase for Quebec's terroir and its suppliers. The ongoing contributions of these artisans is no less important today. We have them to thank for foie gras de canard or salicornia; lamb of heirloom vegetables; seafood or fine herbs.     Upscale restaurant was very creative dishes. Excellent service and excellent wine list. The ambience and the vibe are not very refreshing. While the price/return resort is suddenly a bit on the upper side, it is worth going there for especially event, especially if it’s about the quality and extravagance of the food.

    Food is excellent. Service really needs work, wait time before start and in between -a la carte- dishes was extremely long. Mention of anniversary in reservation was never responded to. All in all a disappointing experience.

    Des votre entrée, le Toqué vous offrent une salle chaleureuses, un personnel accueillant et avec une aura qui accompagne le tout. La nourriture est exceptionnelle , présentation impeccable, et saveur recherché. Une grande table et des moments offerts dans un calme et une salle hautement agréable Merci à vous tous

    Le service était pas mauvais mais les serveurs avaient vraiment de la difficulté, ne connaissaient pas leurs affaires, incapables d'identifier les cépages des vins correctement, de faire une description claire des assiettes, les mises en place sur la table étaient fait d'une main plutôt lourde. Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, les entrées et les plats étaient très appréciés. En revanche, grande déception sur la mise en bouche, assez ridicule dans son choix: une petite tomate cerise coupée en deux et confites avec amandes effilochées. Et les desserts! Annonce d'un clafoutis à la rhubarbe, cela n'avait rien de tel. Ce qui était servi était plutôt bon mais ce n'était en rien l'apparence et le goût d'un vrai clafoutis.

    La nourriture excellente, pétoncles fraises, homard, la mignonette fait avec du vinaigre maison, les plats, les desserts.. le service impeccable!!!

    We selected the 7 course with 7 wine pairings. Some hits and some misses. One course was lobster with large hard pieces of marinated rhubarb. It was paired with a very tart , light chilled red. It was one big tart bomb. So that was a miss. The squab with Cab Frank was a hit. Overall we were disappointed with the wine pairings. But the quality of the food and the services made the experience a good one.
