Our favorite branch place in New Orleans. A must whenever we visit.

Great little spot with amazing food. It's housed in what seems to be an old townhouse, so it's not huge but definitely enough room for you to have your own conversation and experience. Food was fantastic. Grilled octopus was ah.maz.ing.

Very disappointed in both the quality of the food as well as the slow service. Our reservation was at 7:30 and we didn't leave until 10 pm. The food was mediocre at best. I had eaten here one year ago and it was fabulous but this meal was uninspired and not up to previous standards.

My assigned table was way back by the bathroom and kitchen so I opted to dine at the bar. This is a fun place to meet new people and watch the skilled Shannon at work. The negative is that the bar is uncomfortable ; it doesn't jut out far enough so it's very uncomfortable. Also there are no hooks for purses so they must sit on the bar or on the floor (ugh). Anyway everyone sitting there had the same complaints. Also, the bar stools should be ones with backs. The fried oyster salad was remarkable---6 very plump oysters surrounding a fresh, unusual, aromatic choice of greens. I believe the dressing was buttermilk. I added hot sauce to zip it up. Eggplant Parmesan was hearty, full of flavor, and generous. Highly recommend. Customers on both sides enjoyed their desserts. Iconic New Orleans. They need Pinot noir by glass (Oregon) as several people asked for it

This is uptown. A good ways from the French quarter but worth the drive through some nice residential areas. Wait staff were excellent. Couldn't ask for more. Food was very good, presentation was good but nothing stood out. Was hoping for a bit more creativity. That is why 4 stars. Still a very good restaurant with reasonable prices.
