The best brunch or dinner in Jacksonville. Attentive service, excellent dishes from the kitchen, creative craft cocktails, and solid wine list. This restaurant has maintained a high standard year after year.
Orsay has been my favorite Jacksonville Restaurant and was even more so after Matthew’s raised prices significantly last year. Now Orsay has equaled that increase. On the positive side Orsay has a new happy hour policy that offers several wines at half price. Food remains delicious and service is friendly and competent without seeming fawning.
Was visiting my girlfriend in the navy so I wanted to treat her out to a nice dinner while I was here. It was also an early birthday celebration for her. We loved our food and had a great experience.
We ordered exclusively from the cocktail hour menu and the food, as always, was delicious. Our server, Kristin, was amazing. Handling a table of 7 women couldn’t have been easy, and she managed to do so flawlessly. Thanks for making a 40th birthday party fantatic! Always a perfect experience at Orsay - my number 1 in Jax ♥️
Great food and great drinks. 10/10
Loved Orsay and the staff
The food and service were both great as usual. Orsay is one of my favorite places to eat in JAX.
Restaurant Orsay is by far THE best dining in Jacksonville. It is expensive , but well worth the expense. The food is thoughtful, beautifully presented and delicious. The menu changes seasonally which always makes whatever dish you order at the peak of its potential.
Love this place!!
Outstanding. Yet to have a bad meal. Pork chop wonderful.
Excellent meal. The food was so good and our server was wonderful. I had a Bloody Mary but didn’t like it, so different to what I am used to but our server took it back at no charge to me. I really appreciated that.
Great local restaurant with amazing food and service!
The food was excellent. The atmosphere was not what I expected. Very noisy. Service was good but not exceptional. Would go back again for a special occasion, which is what this was.
I’ve never had a bad meal at Orsay. The food is always incredible and the service always top notch. Best restaurant in Jacksonville!
Excellent NYE dinner with my wife. Place was crowded but not too noisy. My wife had been looking forward to the Beef Stroganoff all week, but was disappointed to not find it on the menu and was told it was not no the menu due to the NYE special occasion. She was thrilled when Megan came back and said the kitchen would be happy to make it for her and it was delicious as always. Now that is service with a smile. Definitely going back soon
Our experience was excellent as always. The food was fantastic!
Best escargot! The filet and Ribeye were awesome!
We had such a wonderful dinner with family visiting from out of town. The food was delicious & the service was great! Our server was very friendly, personable & helpful in answering our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience!
One of my favorite Jacksonville restaurants. Food is always superb, as well as the service.
This used to be one of our fav restaurants.. not so much any more. :( I am bummed to give a bad review but I got this notification to give a review so I wanted to be honest about our experience. First problem is the menu that is on trip advisor as their brunch menu shows completely different then the real menu. For instance, the bloody marys showed 7.00 and they were really 10.00. Also, al the dishes were a;prox $8-15 more than the menu submitted on trip advisor. My sis paid 15.00 for kids chicken tenders.. wow. The quiche had bacon in it but there was so much of it and so much fat in it, I had a big pile on the side of my plate trying to chew through to get some egg texture. My daughter had a 18.00-20.00 goat cheese omelette that was supposed to have spinach but the forgot it so it was like this mayo type spread smeared in the omelette and thats it.. no substance, just smeared goat cheese so no texture of flavors other than that. All of our dishes were served with this wilted mushy salad and that was it. Just bummed and disappointed. :( My sis had scallop tar tar and it was literally scallops like brined in salt water with oil on top.. awful.. I spent the entire time apologizing to the table because I was embarrassed because I had picked the brunch. Hats off to the guy that made the bloody marys but that was the only thing I would recommend. Maybe we just got an off day but think we will choose another place next time.
Could not get inside with party of 5 had to seat us on front porch in parking lot entrance never do that again
Our meal, from appetizer to dessert, was outstanding. Flavor was plentiful, nice presentation, service was attentive, without being in your way. Fantastic evening.
Always great food & Tony is a fabulous server. I called to add 2 people to our reservation and the hostess was very accommodating. Love our special table in the corner!
Restaurant Orsay has been voted one of Jacksonville's number one restaurants many times. Youjust have to eat there one time to see why it earns that honor. The front of house and back of house it is orchestrated to bring the guest the best possible dining experience they could have. The food divine, craveable and there are many dishes on the menu that you will not find anywhere else in town. This restaurant as always always worked for me and my guests.
From the beginning of our evening with tasty cocktails moving on to our yummy appetizers of clams and tomato tar tar ,our party of 4 all had a different entrees and it was all delicious!
Orsay is our go-to when we want a special night out. We recently celebrated Christmas Eve there and it, as usual, did not disappoint. I am confused about the previous question about "noise level" and the caption "energetic". Never heard it described that way- but I will say I wish we would have specified "dining room please" when we made our reservation because we were seated in the "bar area" and its super loud in there. The dining rooms are generally a bit quieter. I am of the dying breed who think when you are spending this kind of money on a nice dinner out-it should be somewhat quiet and refined, although I know that view is quite out of vogue.
My husband had the Wagyu beef special, and yes, at $95 it was quite spendy, but as far as I know he enjoyed it. He did not share whether it was worth the investment however. I stayed with the beef shortribs and I loved them. The roasted oysters were divine as an appetizer, and the hubby always gets the charcuterie since he cannot go to Orsay without having it. We skipped dessert. All in all, Orsay is always a treat.
I had an amazing time at orsay, and i will definitley be telling any of my friends who visit jacksonville to stop here!
Celebrated a birthday! Yummy rillette, Hey Jealousy cocktail and short ribs. Everything was delicious!
Started with the traditional deviled eggs - tasty. Then onto the broiled oysters which were delicious. Had the soup du jour which was creamy lentil with a poppy seed creme fraiche. I had never had creamy lentil and loved it. Will be stealing that recipe! Last but not least we split the Orsay Eggs Benedict. I’ve had dozens of versions and this was one of the best that I’ve ever had - truly fabulous! All through brunch we drank the house white which was a very good Savignon Blanc (if I remember correctly). Great value at $7/glass! Ended brunch with the mini creme brulee, which was mint flavored and just so so. Overall, a great brunch. Will be trying them for dinner soon. Nummas!
had great brunch look forward to coming back for dinner
The menu has a lot of variety, both in it's offerings and pricing. This is a favorite restaurant that my husband and I enjoy often. However, I must mention that the noise level is very high. Why can't people use their "inside" voices to carry on a conversation?
I enjoyed my visit to Orsay but I found it lacked in ambience and quiet. Food was good but I guess I was expecting spectacular. Service was outstanding.
As always the food and service at Orsay was excellent!
Professional, premier and delicious
Orsay is one of the best restaurants around, we LOVED it!!
All of the food was wonderful, except for the filet. Pittsburg medium was ordered and it came out grey throughout...twice. They made it right on the bill, but my husband had to eat what I was going to take home for leftovers for lunch the next day as it was taking so long and we didn’t have time to wait for yet another entree (babysitters for date night). My short rib was great, and the couple we were with had short rib and scallop entrees, which were great. We had many appetizers and a few drinks and they were all great...potato croquettes, shrimp cocktail, oysters, duck rillette, bacon flatbread, lobster mac, regular mac, green bean salad, cheese board, french pear, old fashion, port...was just a bummer that the steak was a huge miss. The second time it came out it had a weird lighter fluid chemical taste to it even. My husband does not send food back, ever, but this was inedible. Maybe it was the cut of the filet bc it seemed super thin for a steak that was going to be cooked medium. Cut into our time to try any desserts, unfortunately (we were there over two hours total). We’ll stick to Ruth’s Chris for the PM steak, which they do perfectly every time.
Perfection from beginning to end. Conner was our server. He was very helpful in selections and very friendly
The food is everything you hope for when dining out. The bloody Mary is one of the best. Can’t wait to make another visit.
We had an awesome waiter! He was great! He made suggestions and was attentive
We were seated immediately. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine list and food preparation. He made several recommendations, all of which turned out to be exceptional. We received excellent service throughout our meal from all the servers. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and a wide selection of choices. Wine prices were very reasonable.
Food was delicious. One of the best meals we have had since FIG in Charleston.
Love the new dessert menu. Overall great experience for what we were looking for.
