Honestly, I’m really disappointed this was not a better dining experience. Let me start by saying that the food was amazing! Pork tenderloin, polenta, chickpea fries…absolutely delicious. The drinks as well! I had the cocktail special and my fiancé ordered the Piñon Fashion—both were outstanding. The ambiance, though…maybe our mistake was sitting on the patio. It lacked any real character, and we both agreed that the music felt like we were in a restroom in a hotel lobby. The entrance felt confusing—walked into an empty restaurant (their sister restaurant, Fancies) only to find no one in there to greet us initially. Once we did get seated, our server was mostly great. Except (cringe)…it really felt like they were trying to hard sell the fact that they have a new chef that’s a James Beard nominee who came from Los Poblanos. Don’t get me wrong, he’s obviously great because our food was absolutely incredible. Maybe just don’t lay it on so thick (the other server was also going on and on about the chef). Also, they forgot to bring us our salad. We didn’t speak up about it because honestly that felt like a rookie mistake and I was already disappointed in the experience. Food: 10/10. Everything else: meh.

The service was very poor. The server picked and chose who he spent time helping. One of my refills on lemonade tasted odd. I did not touch it after the first sip. If I am going to spend $150 on a meal plus tip, it had better be darned good service and excellent food. Sadly, neither applied to this restaurant. Such a shame because I was really looking forward to this meal. I was treating my husband to what I thought would be a nice dinner. Also, the server just assumed my husband was paying even though it was my bank card I put down and gave him the slip to sign and shook his hand at the end! I will be contacting the restaurant to express my immense disappointment.

This was the first time. Literally everything was perfect. I was super lucky to find this restaurant! To be honest, I’ve never thought I can find this type of restaurant here in New Mexico. The dishes were incredible. It was so good, like from a gourmet menu in Tokyo. I'm really impressed. Thank you for having us!

This is one of the best restaurants in Albuquerque. We are foodies and go out to eat quite often. This place seems to get better and better with one of the top chefs in the state. The Seabass was cooked to perfection, the Caesar salad was simple, but amazing, and the chickpea fries were unique and very tasty . If you have not been here, you really have to try it. It is one of my favorites . . . and I promise, I am not related to anyone in the restaurant. NS

The food is outstanding, but be prepared to wait. We arrived for a 5:45 reservation, on the patio, which was empty. We took our time looking theough the drinks, wine, and food menu, appreciating the creative ingredients and preparations. Wine came out fairly quickly, but we didn’t see our appetizers until 7, and by the time we finished our entrees it was 8:45. We expected leisurely dining, but were fairly exhausted by the time we left. The restaurant did not seem overly busy dor a Friday night. Perhaps they have back of the house staffing issues?

We had a very nice prix fixe dinner. Only minor flaws marred a generally outstanding meal. Our server was terrific, and the food is better than anything else in Corrales
