Food was great, everyone was polite, nice ambiance and clean. Love the fact that there is an open kitchen/dining and you can see that the cooks take their jobs seriously as well 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
This is the first time the food was less than excellent. Pot roast was too salty and the Wayguy burger was not cooked as requested - it was no where near medium well. Otherwise it was a great evening as expected.
Great service and atmosphere as usual. We were seated promptly and the food was out on time and tasted great. Recommend and will return.
Unfortunately Regions is not what it used to be. We approached the check in desk staffed by two hostess’ neither one acknowledged our presence until I said “ Excuse me”. MI gave my name and since I was early I asked if I could order a cocktail. I was told I would have to go to the bar and place the order myself, there was no table service in the lounge. I ordered from the bar and an excellent cocktail was delivered to my table by the bartender.
When our party was complete we again approached the hostess, the table we were given (we had made a reservation) was probably the worst one in the house. There were several other tables available but they had not been cleared from the previous patrons. We asked if we could have one of the better tables and were willing to wait. Unfortunately the hostess must have forgotten about us, I noticed the table had been cleared and reset but the hostess didn’t seat us until about 15 minutes later, after I enquired if our table was ready.
Once we were seated our server was excellent and knowledgeable about the menu. The problem is in the kitchen. We placed an order for the Brussels sprout appetizer with bacon. The appetizer came quickly and the dish was excellent, Brussels sprouts were grilled and carmelized to perfection and served with thick bacon slices. The problem was the lag time between appetizer and main meal, at least 30 minutes and I noticed several other tables were waiting at least that long for their dinners!
Our mains were pedestrian, both seemed to suffer from “sogginess”! The eggplant Parmesan and “fried chicken” were soggy not crispy. While the portions were generous, the eggplant Parmesan was lacking in taste and texture. I couldn’t taste the “fire roasted”
tomatoe and the eggplant was soggy not crispy. The chicken resembled
A “chicken fried steak”, again lacking in taste and also soggy? We decided not to order dessert.
Susan, we are that your experience wasn't how it should've been when visiting Regions recently. We take value in your reviews and I would like to inform you that I have heard you & am addressing your points with the staff. In planning for the evenings business we generally pre-assign tables based on reservations and I believe that is where the delay must've been on our part. Again I apologize and I will send my information privately, please reach out to me. Thank you Susan.
Surprised at the loveliness of the establishment. The Brussels Sprouts were amazing! Nick was an excellent server and was very thorough with some of our food allergies/aversions. It was a wonderful lunch and only wish I had been able to try more. Will be back for sure.
We are privileged to have a great customer base, like yourself. Bringing an exceptional guest experience is one of the most important objectives we have, thank you for choosing us and we hope to see you again soon!
Highly recommend the Southern Fried Chicken with the creamy grits and smoked tasso gravy. Incredibly delicious, stunningly flavorful and a dish that I'll continue to think about well after the meal.
Thank you very much for your kind words! We hope we can provide you with more great experiences in the future!
Great experience! Robin was an excellent server!
Thank you so much!! She is one of our finest. Come see us again any time! -Region's 117 Team
Ordered the beignets for the appetizer and they were out of this world, both entrees were equally delicious, plus great coffee! The young woman was very attentive and hospitable, we'll be back!!
Thank you so much! We appreciate your review. We are so happy you enjoyed our biegnets, it's one of our favorites too! Thanks for the shoutout, we know just who it is and we'll make sure we let them know of your kind words ;-) Come see us again any time! -Region's 117 Team
I was about to call with these comments. We are one month into residency at trilogy. I had the vegetable stir- fry. Meager portion, I It seemed you used minute rice. Minute Rice? I haven’t used or tasted hat wonderbread of grains since the 60’s. And then it was clearly jarred teriyaki sauce, sort-of dumped on top. Way too much, overpowering any flavor the few pea pods and half a baby boc choy could add to a plethora of squash. With little more effort something yummy could have been presented. Stir fry with fresh garlic and ginger, add a dash of soy sauce, perhaps some Asian chili sauce. Please use jasmine rice, oriental restaurants keep it for hours so can any restaurant which offers rice. Our daughter ordered a chicken Caesar and found it ho- hum. Hubby had millionaire burgers, loved It. in all a poor eating experience.
The fresh fish special was outstanding! Our guests had never been to Region's 117 for dinner and were very impressed with their entrees and the overall restaurant service.
Thank you so much for your review! We appreciate the kind words. We'd love the opportunity to serve you again soon. -Region's 117 Team
Dinner was great as usual. The only disappointment was my son ordered the crab cakes and they were inedible. They were overly fishy tasting and when mentioned to the waitress no other option was offered. Still wouldn’t stop me from visiting again. Love the place
Yet another wonderful experience at Regions 117! Service, food, and atmosphere was perfect!
Awesome service and attention from Becca, our server! Fabulous food that you cannot get anywhere else in this area--relaxed, very clean and peaceful atmosphere-altogether GREAT place!
Marybeth, Thanks so much for this awesome review! We appreciate the kind words. We'd love the opportunity to serve you again soon! -Region's 117 Team
My husband and I dined here for the first time. It was absolutely awesome! The food was great, the service was awesome, and the setting was beautiful. We loved it, and will be back!
Thank you so much for this review! We'd love to have you all again with us soon. We appreciate the kind words. -Region's 117 Team
The dining room is open to both the lobby and the bar, making the environment quite noisy. The food is mediocre. The crab cakes use a recipe unlike any other ever experienced by this reviewer. They were chock full of unnecessary ingredients not normally found in crab cakes in the Mid-Atlantic region. From time of order to delivery of food was excessive. Region's 117 needs a lot of work to come up to the standard of a reliable provider of good food.
Excellent food and service ~ I highly recommend Regions 117.
Thank so much for the kind words, Laura! We appreciate the excellent rating. Hope to see you visit us again soon! -Region's 117 Team
Overall experience was good. Menu choices were limited, but vegetable substitutions were readily available. Our waitress was friendly and efficient but not overbearing. The noise level was a bit over the top but lessened as people were leaving. We would recommend this restaurant to our friends.
Hey Don! Thanks so much for this review, we appreciate the feedback. We are glad that we were able to accommodate your substitutions, we always strive to make everyone happy around here. We'd love to see you again soon! -Region's 117 Team
It was great. My 92 yr old grandpa loved it and loved the atmosphere.
Hey there! So glad that you and your grandpa enjoyed everything. We appreciate the kind review! Hope to see you both again soon. -Region's 117 Team
Absolutely amazing food and great service!!!
Thanks for the kind words, Karen! We appreciate the great review. Hope you'll visit again soon. -Region's 117 Team
My wife and I are repeat customers and continue to have great dining experiences each visit.
Hey James! Thanks so much for the kind review, it means a lot! Can't wait for your next visit. -Region's 117 Team
first time there and I will be back for sure. Great menu, great food and awesome value
Our friends Christmas dinner / get together was great. We actually had to increase our number from six to eight but that was not a problem for Regions 117. They were very accommodating. We had a great time!
Normally everything is absolutely fantastic but this time for brunch our steak was burnt and the cheddar were very dry and congealed.....our waitress asked why we didn’t eat our steak or grits and when we explained she did apologize but didn’t offer any other resolutions.
Thank you for reaching out and we apologize about what was lacking in your most recent experience, If possible, can you please reach out to us directly and ask for Ricky. I would like to talk to you more about your experience and find out a way to make sure you know that hospitality and our guests are our number one priority. Again we apologize and are thankful for the opportunity to make this right for you.
Great service and food is fresh from right off the farm.
Food was excellent and our guests said the same thing. Service was very good.
It was very noisy in the restaurant for most of our meal. There was a wedding happening downstairs and while they changed things over the guests were all milling about upstairs. It made it VERY difficult to hear the other people at our table.
Good afternoon Leslie!, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We apologize about the noise level and will talk about ways that we can mitigate that in the future for you. Please let us know if you have any suggestions as we value our guests opinions highly. We hope to see you again soon!
Brunch was super delicious! Our server Isaiah was top-notch. The fireplace is my favorite part. The whole experience far surpassed our expectations.
Moving in to Trilogy Lake Frederick
Robyn was a great hostess, very attentive and knowledgeable
Both had special surf and turf. Meatball appetizer was pretty good but could use more cheese. Salads are some of the best around. Rockfish and filet were both good and vegetables too. Sat right in front of kitchen but that’s where the 2 tops are and that means noise. Craft beers excellent. Will return.
Great atmosphere and food to match. Have always had a great experience.
The food is always good. As Vegans, the chef always goes out of his way to make the food suitable. We especially enjoy the servers Rachel and Robin, but everyone on the staff are great.
Always enjoy Regions. Great staff and service!
Birthday. Great service. Food was awesome.
Beautiful setting, new building, lots of glass and wood, very high ceilings give a nice sense of space- food was good, my vegetarian companion was pleased at the substitutions that were made- the service was really excellent- devoted to us but not intrusive- lovely!
Thank you Trici for your kind words and review! Our team is happy to make any substitution or special request to meet dietary needs. We look forward to serving you again soon.
We had the tasting menu available during restaurant week. It was excellent.
We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our restaurant week menu! We have special menus regularly and anticipate your next visit to share these with us!
Service was extremely slow, though waitress was cordial and apologetic for the wait. I’d hoped for a nice relaxing evening but by the time our food arrived we had to hurry to finish and took the dessert to go in order to get home in time to pickup kids. I’d recommend going when you have 3 hours for dinner.
The food was excellent and our waitress was outstanding. We enjoyed the wine dinner. We will be coming back again.
We are very please to receive your feedback on our restaurant week menu! We hope to see you again soon and invite you back to try our daily food & drink specials as well!
Despite our reservation, we had to wait ten minutes to be seated. We also had to wait an extraordinary long time for our food. We ordered shredded Brussel sprouts for appetizer. After thirty minutes we were told that they were out of the Brussel sprouts. An hour after we arrived we got our entrées. Our server did his best to help us with the wait by checking with us frequently. At the end of our meal the manger came to our table to address the problems and offer his apologies. The kitchen was overwhelmed. They were serving a 250 plated dinner while also trying to serve the restaurant on a busy Friday night. The manager substantially discounted our bill and gave us dessert. Without the planning/staffing snafu this would have been a very good dining experience.
Delicious as usual! Staff are all willing to help make the evening perfect.
Patrick, thank you very much for such kind remarks! We really value you as our guests and anticipate your next visit.
