Region's 117 is truly a treasure, as it is the only venue for lakeside dining in the Valley, located just behind the gates at the dynamic Shenandoah Lodge. We welcome all who enjoy delicious food paired with an uninterrupted view of the 117-acre Lake Frederick from inside, or out on our expansive Veranda. It was fantastic. Food and service fabulous! Would recommend to everyone.
The atmosphere was great! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful as we let her know it was our anniversary. Our drinks were made to perfection, and we absolutely loved the food! We highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be coming back!
Sunday brunch is great! A little loud next to the open kitchen but looking forward to dining out on the deck when the weather permits! Great experience for sure!
We have been to this restaurant several times. always a great meal
Service was great, portion size more than expected overall great lunch experience!
We enjoyed our food and the server provided superb attention to our needs. This is my favorite restaurant.
Beautiful restaurant and setting, roomy, pleasant efficient staff, and most importantly, the food was phenomenal. Will look for an excuse to return soon! Would be a beautiful setting for a family gathering and/or lifetime event. Lovely a-z.
Nice restaurant with good food and exceptional customer service. It's a little on the noisy side for date night.
We went for brunch. We shared a few items. Our favorites were the grits and biscuits. But everything was delicious.
Group of 5 adults. Remarks: Burger: "delicious"; gluten-free veggie pizza: "delicious"; fish and chips special had by 2: "pretty good"; oyster po-boy: very fishy tasting, not enough oysters, mostly fillers of lettuce, tomato and bun.
Staff is awesome! Food and drinks are great and valued appropriately.
Had a wonderful dinner with friends. Love the atmosphere in the restaurant, and the service was great too.
Nice atmosphere. It is a cozy environment - not large. Best fried pickle spears I ever had.
everyone and everything just great, will return very soon
We always enjoy Regions! Excellent food and service.
Love eating here, the ambiance is great and the food is yummy. Perfect for lunch with the family or a special dinner with your sweetie.
Great food and friendly service. Loved the Millionaire Burger!
We have been may times before food is good service is good and the aesthetics are very nice. We went on out daughter’s birthday and brought a birthday cake. They told us we couldn’t bring it in since they don’t allow outside food in due to possible contamination but for $15 dollars we could bring the cake in. I hate stupid. It’s either no outside food in due to liability concerns from contamination or it’s there is a $15 charge for using our plates and service. If there is concern about contamination then a magic $15 is not going to take that concern away. We could understand no outside food allowed but the illogical response was frustrating and put a damper on the night. We lit the candles and sang happy birthday in the dark parking lot
Amazing atmosphere and food at a reasonable price. It’s an upscale place that won’t break the bank.
We love Region's and eat here often. I think our experience this time was the best yet. We had a rough dinner about a month ago while introducing someone to the restaurant but they made up for it this time. We ordered primarily off of the Valentine's Day special menu and loved everything we had. We used to head to Sweetwater in Sterling when we wanted a great meal but Region's has been filling our "good food bank" locally. Great job!
Our server was very attentive. We ordered off the Valentines Day special list. The food and rose margarita was delicious. The strawberry chocolate martini is a great dessert choice. 😉
This was my first visit in a while, And I was incredibly disappointed. The service was great, however the restaurant allowed a reservation at 8:30, when I did not know that the restaurant close at 9 PM, I felt like everyone wanted to leave. However my biggest concern was the quality of the food, I ordered the crabcakes which I had ordered in the past and the portion size for $21 was small and I felt like it was kind of thrown together, I didn’t even touch the coleslaw because it look like it had been sitting around all day. The other person in my party ordered the special which was a blackened chicken Alfredo, it looked like something you would get in a microwave TV dinner. I would’ve expected a really beautiful fettuccine Alfredo with sliced blackened chicken on top, and said it was a soupy mess with chunks of chicken (obviously not blackened) all stirred together. I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the food considering every visit that I have had here in the past was excellent, that’s why it was my choice for a Valentines dinner for me and my significant other, but we will be going elsewhere next time.
Second trip to this restaurant. Shared the roasted Brussels sprouts for the appetizer. Loved it!
Food, ambiance, and staff are all wonderful. If it was closer to my home, I would be there very frequently.
The food, ambiance, and service were excellent. My only observation is that I made a reservation on line requesting a table with a lake view and the person that seated us didn't have any knowledge of our reservation or request. I usually don't make a reservation here so may not bother in the future.
The meal and service were fantastic. We had the corned beef and the pork belly hashes. Both were very flavorful. We loved the sourdough bread on the side vs. normal white/wheat toast! The other thing I noticed was the super crispness on the potatoes in the hash. LOVED that! Cocktails were I’d say a little better than average. I do not care for cubed ice in my $10+ cocktail. It dilutes the spirits and becomes watered down. Other than that, great experience! We will be back for dinner!
Experienced dinner while visiting family in Stephen City from NY/Fl. Native NYer. I especially like the wine specials! Our server, Robin, was fabulous! Definitely would dine again and request Robin.
Lunch for three at Regions was an excellent idea today. The roasted veggie salad special was delicious, although I added pepper and salt. The dining room was quiet and several people choose to eat on the deck today because of the warm weather. Excellent service, as always.
I’ve been at Region 117 many times. No matter what I order the food is great. When there is something new on the menu I am never disappointed by the superb taste. Every await staff has always given excellent service.
Have been to Regions 117 many times and each time it gets worse and it is not always the food. The salads are too old and soggy to be using exclusive Romain lettuce and old cherry tomatoes - no crispness & no flavor. The service attempts to do its job but the set ups are limited - such as no spoon in the silverware and you have to beg for one because they assume you will not need one. The excessive use of salt is telling and if one is on a low sodium diet it is tough. Had a Bloody Mary that was atrociously bad and that will never happen again. The soup entry as one of the "specials" was more like an appetizer dish not a main item, and hence it was small and a refill was verboten and the waitress couldn't decide what to do. Meanwhile other main services very large, perhaps too much so. Then the bill - used a voucher provided by HOA as an appreciation for winning a poll position in the mileage context between all Trilogy sites and the bill was $30 and the coupon $50 and I find out that once you use the coupon it invalidates the balance - and I could not go back and order a take-home to use the whole amount - it was lost in the either of ridiculousness. So that's it - forget Regions for me, I have many other places to have lunch especially with friends. After the last three visits I can now see a really bad downtrend - some great things but the overall is slipping and they cannot keep good people or decent chefs - what does that say?
We enjoyed our Sunday brunch very much. The service was outstanding, and very very courteous/friendly. We plan to come back for a dinner sometime in the near future.
I got the strata delish. My husband got the pork belly and sweet potato has and it was warm not hot. Wine was good . Won't be going back know for brunch, as cooking staff must have been overwhelmed. Toast was chewy not hot.
Great service and good food. The best part is the ability to make a reservation! The modern farmhouse decor and ambiance make dining there a great experience.
We had a lovely time. The place is beautiful, and the server couldn’t have been nicer. The food was good, though not outstanding. It was about what I expected. The modern vibe is classy without being overly fancy. It was the perfect place for our family celebration.
I like this restaurant and have eaten here several times. It is very cozy and I love the fireplace and decor. They have good craft beers on draft and a nice happy hour. The service is excellent. I do think the prices are a bit high. I ordered the shrimp scampi, which was tasty, but not out of this world. My issue was for a higher priced meal, there were only 6 shrimp in it. My husband ordered the special which was seafood bouillabaisse and he was very pleased. I think he had at least 4 shrimp, plus muscles, fish, and other pieces of seafood - not sure what all else. They just need to beef up their shrimp count in the scampi!
As always, Dinner was excellent. The center cut rib-eye was perfect. It seemed to have been cooked sou vide because the medium rare steak was just that from edge to edge with no under or over cooked areas. The greens beans were an exact al dente and the baked potato was fluffy and moist.
The atmosphere is terrific. Our waiter, Isaac, was outstanding. Would go back in a heartbeat
I absolutely love this restaurant! The atmosphere is so comfortable, relaxing and elegant. Great food and mimosas!
Regions 117 always delivers great food and friendly service. There aren’t many eateries around that are consistently awesome.
Outstanding service and great food. Atmosphere was fantastic .
