RedFarm brings a greenmarket sensibility to modern and inventive Chinese food and super-charged dim sum complemented by modern, rustic décor. Joe Ng’s menu takes a clean, fresh approach to Chinese food. Signature items include clever dim sum creations for which Ng is known and small plates: Pac Man dumplings; yuzu wasabi shrimp; mushroom spring rolls that evoke a chanterelle mushroom; and a sculptural chicken salad. Modern takes on classic main dishes includes remarkably tender marinated rib steak with steamed baby bok choy and spicy steamed sea bass.

As always the food was excellent. The Express Lunch is amazing value and delicious! Service was friendly and knowledgable. Really enjoy Red Farm and glad they're in Austin.

Fantastic food! Had the sea bass, shrimp chicken and a few appetizers! Great wine selection and manager even gave us a free drink when we inquired about why/ what we were seeing so many of! Robert took great care of us

Had a fun time on the patio and the staff was quick to act when it started to pour down rain! Highly recommend the applewood bacon fried rice also.

We really enjoyed our experience here! The service was fabulous, and we were regularly checked in on. Everything we ordered and tried was exploding with flavor. We have some picky kids and even they enjoyed their meal! To start we ordered soup dumplings, veggie dumplings, the mushroom scallion pancakes (which are not what you’d expect, but so delish!), and the oxtail dumplings. For entrees we ordered crispy chicken, the filet and broccoli (very tender and flavorful), veggie fried rice, string beans w/brussels, the cod, and the Buddha veggies. There were 6 of us and we shared everything and had plenty of leftovers. I will say, if you are more of a heavily MSGd “typical” Chinese dish like general tso’s, this isn’t your place. If you want farm to table fresh, new flavors that come through in every bite, and a lovely experience, then book your next dinner here.

Overall, food and service were good. The lettuce duck wraps were our favorite of the night. The tuna salad was not great from the specials menu. It was only tuna, wonton chips and a couple of carrots. Very lackluster. But they did take it off the bill! So that was great. The chicken and shrimp lollipops were also outstanding.

Excellent across the board. We had 7 different dishes and each was excellent. Most of their dumpling dishes servered for and they modified the dish to serve a party of 5. It was a nice touch and speaks to their level of service

Service was friendly and prompt. Our server had at least 6 recommendations for starters and dim sum items. We picked 7 and all were delicious.Highlights for us were the soup dumplings and crispy beef. Items were brought out one at a time so we never felt crowded or rushed. I thought I might regret sitting inside because we had tables on either side that were quite close to us, but after a few minutes we had cocktails in hand and such attentive service that we were not bothered by the short distances.
