Used to go every Sunday night with kids when they were young for the Fried chicken In town celebrating my youngest college graduation Got sat down then promptly asked to live to another table ( not sure why but offered a meal discount) chicken still fantastic but charged more than was quoted when I called earlier for family style. Front of house came by and mentioned a drink was taken off bill for the discount, (it wasn’t) and nothing celebratory for son Overall still nice as it brought fond memories but the attention to detail at least for this visit was not on point to earlier times

We celebrated my husband’s birthday. The food was very good even though it was slightly overpriced. Our waitress Adrian made it very special. She was very friendly and answered our questions about the menu.

Food was good not great. It wasn’t a wow meal. Service was good. Ambiance lacking. It was clean. Only one waitress but not many people in for dinner. Lobster bisque just ok.

We wanted to have superb steak. Couldn't get a reservation at one of the good steak houses at the last moment. We ordered the 8 oz ($62) filet mignoin, instead we got a roughly 5oz filet mignoin of at best Costco quality, not medium rare as ordered but medium. A peppermill was hard to come by. But the steak comes with a Bernaise sauce of sorts, probably to hide the atrocious meat. The two sides - creamed spinach and mashed potatoes - were a generous portions but luke warm, the spinach bitter and the mashed potatoes tastless and soggy. The dining room, we sat in is likely for the outcasts. Hardly anybody there, even though it was tough to get a reservation. Flickering lighst over the dinning tables don't enhance the mood. The service was spotty, we didn't even have all the utensils we needed. All in all a $200 meal, we wish we had avoided!! Even though we live close by, this was our last visit. No idea, what the attraction for all the guests with the big fancy cars is. They can afford a decent steak and should know good quality.

If the host was our waiter, that would have been great! He is kind, friendly and happy to have you as a guest. On to the food: Before you even order you immediately notice that this is more like an old fashioned New York Steakhouse, with a piano bar and standards being crooned. It is very relaxing and 'old school'. Think Frank Sinatra with a few Billy Joel hits thrown in. This is a high quality comfort food place. So the potatoes are au gratin. So is the Mac N Cheese. They talk about their many options for steak dinners. We start with their French Onion Soup. They split it for us. My suggestion? Do not split it. Get one for yourself. The cheese dripping over the edge is done right and you want the most you can get! We tried their Chicken Pot Pie and Baby Back Ribs. This is the place to go for these main dishes. I ordered a half rack and it was more than satisfying. As you may have heard, and see here, it's pricey. With soup, two mains, a side of Mac N Cheese, tax and tip it was just under $200.00. What I also know about this place is: During track season it's jammed. People with lots of money and a piano bar to sing at? It's a great combination! Best, Chef Marian🥂

I go here every Mothers Day (since about 10 years ago). Service seemed off food was not hot and took longer than usual to get food. Waitstaff was nice though. Price point was also a little high for quality of food. Drinks were overpriced as well. Initially given a bad table for two that was inconvenient and not best for an elderly person. Made a reservation well in advance and was told in essence “too bad that’s all we have available-people got here before you”. In short not the best attitude. Finally given a different table. Never had an issue before. I guess there’s always a first time. Not sure if I will drive all that way and come back next year.

ASKED FOR MEDIUM AND GOT RARE AND HAD TO SEND IT BACK. 3. $70.00 FOR A SIMPLE PIECE OF SALMON? REALLY GOOD THINGS: 1. RED'S LOBSTER BISQUE IS AWESOME. EVERY TIME WE GO THERE IT'S GREAT 2. VALET IS HANDLED EXCELLENTLY IF WE EVER GO BACK, WHICH IS UNLIKELY, I'LL JUST HAVE WATER AND THE BISQUE AND THE EXCELLENT WARM BREAD YOU SERVE. SIGNED: RICK CROOKS PACIFIC INVESTIGATIONS P.O. I love this place. I always enjoy the old Hollywood vibe. The food has been always good, except this time. The Prime Rib was like rubber, hard to cut and my Wedge Salad was swimming in dressing. I usually get my salad dressing on the side my bad in not doing so. They ran out of potatoes en gratin - yet we were one of the first to arrive. My husband's fried chicken was fabulous. Lastly, the guy who was seating people was REALLY annoyed that I asked to sit in the bar (that was empty) as we wanted to hear the piano player. This guy did NOT want to sit us in the bar. When I pleaded with him, he finally sat us in the very breezy doorway (my mother is 88 and always cold) while we sat he told us we "HAD to finish our meal in two hours as they would get busy." He was a total &%$#. It was Mother's Day - the service was fabulous but the food not so much. I will definitely be back, could've just been a bad day for the kitchen!

Great filling dinner last night in the bar area. We had the crab louie salad and then split the sirloin steak and it was plenty. Delicious and we added the brocollini. The only issue was that half of the items on the menu were Market place so I was hesitant to pick a fish dish with so many MP’s listed in the menu.

The usual good stuff. Sand Dabs were great. Can't find them many places. Friday Lobster Sandwich special was super. Only a cacophonous table of 5 made the evening tough to bear. Wish they would stop feeding tables like that booze.

Off day for this restaurant: service was slow (I had to get up from my table and grab my own drink at the bar after it sat there for 5 minutes), didn’t get the table we requested a week in advance (we got sat on the dance floor), and they’ve increased menu prices 20%. Food was very good and that was the only highlight.

For 70 dollar halibut you can find better. For a cranberry soda they charged 9 bucks for soda water and 9 bucks for the cranberry. 18 bucks for a non alcoholic drink is a bit much… still the best lobster bisque in town.

I tried to get the server to advise me on the portion size of the crab legs for one person. I inquired how many ounces of actual crab meat per leg-4 ounces, 8 ounces.? I was full after one leg, but she suggested I order the 2 pound portion, which was 4 legs and almost $300.00. It was waaay too much for an average sized woman and very expensive. Can't help but wonder if it was a way to bulk up the gratuity percentage. It will be a hard pass on this restaurant next time.

Food was subpar and totally overpriced and therefore a terrible value. Mandatory valet parking was ridiculous. French onion soup was awful. 2 tries on the meat and they still missed the mark. One was overdone and the other was underdone. Featured dessert was unavailable at 5pm. The reservation was noted as for a special occasion (anniversary) and no mention was made of it nor was anything special offered. Could not wait to leave and don't plan on ever returning

We got bread service right as we were being seated! We thought great the service is going to be amazing! However, it took our waitress 10 mins to get to us. We finally ordered water, and then they brought us our food menus. Food came out quickly, it was good. I do not know how long our water glasses sat empty. But it was annoying. That’s a pet peeve of mine, water glasses should never be empty, especially if that’s all one is drinking. At the end of the meal we finally saw a bus boy refilling waters. But once again, didn’t fill ours. It was comical. Waiters should always be looking at this and we shouldn’t have to ask 3 times! Rant over. Food was good. Parking lot is only for valet. So parked on the street. I can see it being more a problem in the summer time.
