   Exceptional food and amazing service!! The ambiance is a bit dated but from the hostess to the wait staff and others, the service and professionalism makes up for the below average ambiance. Appetizers, mains, and deserts were absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared.

   The salmon was very well prepared, and the mussels were fresh and exceptionally prepared. The tomato/mozz salad was a little expensive for the size of the salad - it was disappointing to be so small. Our server, Mark, was very respectful of the table conversations and was not intrusive. Overall, our table thought the steaks were more expensive than other comparable restaurants in the area, so we did not order steak.

   Delicious food, the steaks were perfectly cooked. I highly recommend the au gratin potatoes and brussel sprouts for sifes. Our server was amazing.

   Hostess had zero personality when we walked in. Seemed very bored and almost put out that she had to seat us. The server did not have much personality either and although didn't do anything wrong, it was far from the excellent service we have received at many other places. This was a shame as many of the reviews we read had to do with the excellent service and we didn't see this anywhere in the restaurant. The worst and most irritating part of the meal was the steak. If you are a steakhouse it should really be the one thing you don't screw up. My 10 year old son and I split the $60 ribeye and ordered it Medium. We cut into it and it looked like it had been seared on the outside only and the inside was rare. Towards the middle was purple. Server did have it taken off the bill. No Manager came by whatsoever throughout the meal. We would not go back if visiting again unfortunately. Hopefully a one-off issue for the restaurant.

   The steaks were really well seasoned! Our server was super kind! The cocktail menu isn’t good if you like a girly drink, nothing really fruity or sweet. I didn’t like that the specials were only verbally told to us and not written down on some sort of card or mini menu at our table, same with certain menu items listed as “MP” (market price) but there is no daily updated part of the menu or anything written available to you at your table that tells you what those items are priced at for that day which was annoying. The truffle potatoes were soooo soooo good!

   Had reservations for 8:45. At 9:00 they told us that they were closing and rushed our food. Undercooked and tasted microwaved. A place of this caliber should not be taking reservations at 8:45 and rushing people out at 9:00. Horrible experience. Do not recommend.

    If you want a nice quiet and romantic ambiance, Monday was a good choice. Large wine selection.
