We always had great experiences at this location and we are very sad that they are closing but look forward to trying their new concept when it opens
Red is Prime Time - This place is everything you should expect from a high-end steak house. The steaks, and king crab were excellent. The apps ... crab cake and stuffed pepper - gourmet. The server was knowledgeable, professional, and attentive, but not imposing. I regret forgetting my to go box!
We come to Red for the steak, mashed potato, carrots all at a level we’ve never found any where else. We got what we always got at Red, comfort food fit for a king. To be honest this is a lot of money for us to spend on wine, steak and potatoes; so we only come on special occasions. Though the food was excellent, I didn’t appreciate our experience being belittled by our server. I was told "Red is just Red and will always be just Red, you need to come back when we reopen as Rosso. It will be special “. I hope to return at the new location. I hope the new venue doesn’t detract from the quality that we’ve come to expect.
Meal was excellent. Nothing disappointed. Very pricey, but I knew that going in. Nice place for a special occasion.
Wonderful service as always. Food was excellent. Can’t wait until the marshmallow sweet potatoes hit next month!
Red is the best steakhouse we have been to anywhere. The food and service are always outstanding. We always make it a priority when we are here in Cleveland.
Reds Steak House is a very nice restaurant with very good food but highly priced and noisy but they did have good service
Great as always! Plan on paying for great food and great service tho!
We both had a great time and enjoyed the overall aesthetic along with vibe as well. Definitely going to be one of “spots”
Service was excellent!
Overall experience was great. Restaurant is a little dark and the tables close together. Other than that, the filet was money. Crab cakes were on point. Service was top notch and highly attentive. I came through the entrance of Blue, The Restaurant because Red's entrance was hard to find. The space and ambiance of Blue was bright and open, so that may have skewed my score for Red. But, you have to go here. It was a wonderful anniversary dinner. Don't skimp on dessert, get the donuts.
Chris and all the staff are fantastic!
Again, amazing !!
Really nice menu...outstanding steaks...very much worth it!
Solid experience but not as good of an overall experience as the downtown CLE location.
Service was excellent, steak was perfectly seasoned and prepared. Donuts for dessert !
Hard to find with no curb appeal but that's not all that important.
Promptly seated in probably the most uncomfortable booth we've ever sat in. We are people of girth and a restaurant this over the top in price should have had a staff member that realized a cramped booth was a bad choice. Still not the end of the world but at this level I expect perfection.
Aside from a table with a precocious and non stop talking presence the ambiance was ok.
The bright spot was the unparalleled service from our waitress. Bar none one if the best we have had and kudos to her efforts. I wish I could recall her name but she will remember us as the table that received raw mussels for our appetizer. It seemed to be an unfortunate cooking error and they promptly replaced them. The repaired mussels were tasty.
We opted for 2 filets and one prime strip. All were tasty and cooked close to order. Was it the best ever? Close.
The sides were the real value served family style and ample for 3 to 4 people.
The highlight of the evening is when the waitress queried if we were there for a special occasion with "Yes... an anniversary" as a reply. She said I'll be back with a special treat. Powdered beignets with 3 different sauces. Wonderful end to a very expensive meal.
Will I go again? No. Far too pricey for what you get. However, if you have unlimited funds and want to treat someone ... go for it.
So disappointing! The order was mixed up twice, but finally arrived. But we then discovered that the bone-in ribeye had no bone, Caesar salad had no dressing, and another part of the order was MIA. Bringing us three very sugary, unwanted desserts instead of adjusting the bill added to our disappointment.
This is my favorite restaurant to go to for a special occasion. Usually it’s fantastic, but I’m not sure if it were busy or what. Our server took our order, brought our dessert, and then our check. She didn’t check in which is unusual. The food was pretty good, not as good as I remember. Overall it was fine..though may pick a different restaurant for our anniversary dinner next year
While the food was good- the service was terrible. It took 40 minutes to get a cocktail. We were there to celebrate our son’s birthday- so we knew we would get donut holes after dinner. We finally asked for them to go as we didn’t know how long we would be sitting there. They seemed sadly short staffed. When going to a high end restaurant one expects attentive service - which we did not get that night.
The service was atrocious, they should be ashamed of themselves!
Always good, with excellent meals and wonderful servers!
Food will be five star if you eat steak. Veal not near as good.
We love going to Red. It is always delicious and an awesome experience!
Great meal all around. Best steaks in cleveland
The food was marginal for the price. It's expensive and not in a hurry to go back.
Amazing service and food! They even bought us a round of drinks and gave a dessert for our anniversary. We will be back
Excellent food and service
My steak was cooked to perfection and my wife’s lobster was as well-or so I was told!!
Everything was great except for the service... at a restaurant of this caliber one would think that the waitress could keep our beverages full. Several times during the evening the four of us were left with empty water glasses and unfilled iced tea. She was the worst waitress we have encountered at Red!
Have been here a number of times, and ordered nearly everything from menu -- all outstanding. The selection and quality of the sides is particularly interesting and excellent. A bit pricey, so I prefer to go when someone else is paying.
The whole dining experience was wonderful, the food, the service, the environment and ambiance, the lighting etc
The food was amazing! We sat at the bar for our 20th anniversary and absolutely loved it. James the bartender was the best...made the evening so much more enjoyable and entertaining.
Red is consistently good. We had excellent services by Chris. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides are always delicious.
Great steaks great service. If you go you must get the truffle whipped potato’s amazing. Could of just ate those.
My favorite steakhouse anywhere. Terrific steaks, wonderful sauces and sides, good wine list and attentive service. What more could you ask for?
We often return for our anniversary dinner. This year fully met our expectations and we look forward to other visits.
The food and atmosphere were great. Everyone at the table ordered steak and no one was disappointed.
PERFECT!! Excellent food, great service, overall perfect dining experience!
Not as impressed as I have been on previous occasions. Food was over salted and expensive for the quality. Beautiful restaurant with attentive servers.
Service was spectacular. Very informed about food selections. Definitely come prepared to spend a small fortune but it was delicious!
