Welcome! The Red Stag Supperclub blends old school Wisconsin supper club charm with a contemporary passion for delicious, sustainable, farm-to-table food (CLICK HERE to see our menus). Located in the "Nordeast" Arts District just across the river from downtown, the Red Stag Supperclub opened its doors in November 2007 as the first LEED-CI Certified restaurant project in Minnesota. Red Stag serves brunch, lunch and dinner and has late night live music several nights a week. We accept reservations for half of our dining room and leave the other half open for walk-ins.

Parking details
$5 Valet parking is available on busy nights when parking is limited. Street parking is free after 6pm on weekdays and all day Sat & Sun. Weekday metered parking is $0.25/hr.

After 6pm every night and all day Sat & Sun, free parking is also available in the HDMG parking lot (see parking map) as well as the Bank's Building parking lot.

Our server took over 30 min just to take our order for apps. I ordered the special of pecan crusted snapper. For $32 I expected more then 3 pieces of white asparagus and 2 over cooked sweet potatoes that were about a finger big. The fish itself was about a 4 oz serving. Very underwhelming. Red stag lists itself as a supper club and yet there is NOTHING supper club about it. No bread. No salad. No friendly smiles. I do not ever need to return to them.

Last minute reservation. We were seated in a timely manner. Ambiance was fine given the occasion. Food was ok. Great server who was very attentive. Would go again!

We sat at the bar while we waited for our table. The bartenders were very nice and the wine was great. Getting to our table we were greeted quickly and the waitress was very attentive. The food came out quickly and it was very good. We got a flank steak and half chicken. Yummy!

We sat near the open kitchen which we loved. The mussels were a delicious appetizer. Our entrees were shrimp scampi and the evening special, red snapper. The whole experience was wonderful with good service and great food.

We have eaten their several times, however we had to ask for the usual crumb cakes, both vegetable hash dishes were cold because we seen them sitting on the server counter for a long time, my waffle and chicken plate had hardly any chicken. I seen others who ordered and they had chicken on the side , this plate as well was somewhat cold. Waiter was not very attentive. Bummer of a visit!

Do not recommend! Party of 4. Once we were seated it was about 10 minutes before a server approached our table. This was definitely the first indication that our experience at Red Stag wasn’t going to be great. When we asked the server what the soup of the day was, she said she didn’t know. She was going to check and come back to let us know. That never happened. It took another 10 minutes to get the cocktails that were ordered. The restaurant was not even very busy as our reservation was at 5:45pm. We then ordered macaroni & cheese and cheese curds as appetizers. Those were both pretty good (the only decent food we had there). We didn’t get our main courses until 7:20pm or so, it took forever! Were the main entrees worth the wait? Not even close. We ordered shrimp scampi, the red snapper special, and two burgers. These entrees tasted like they should’ve been $9.99, not $20-30. Food was terrible. Cold, burnt, and lacking flavor. Overall we just wanted to get our checks and get the hell out of there. Terrible service, food, and dining experience. We will never return to Red Stag.

We came for the Friday fish fry and ate our way to a spectacular desert (chocolate Carmel bread pudding with banana creme). Beer selection was good and the staff was attentive. We’ll be back...

It took a very long time to get attention from the waitperson. Food was very good but also took a very long time to get. The result was we spent about 1/2 hour or more more than we expected to.
