    The atmosphere and other services were great. The waiter was not as attentive to us. Food was brought out warm , like it had been setting for a while. He seems to be interested in the younger crowd not the older folks. Not sure I would eat here again.

    Well appointed and great tasting food. Wait staff is friendly. The decor of the restaurant is interesting, lots of wood and dead animals on the wall, hence the name. Great experience!

    We had an extravagant Thanksgiving feast at the Red Stag Grill, our first visit there. They had a price fixe menu of 4 courses with 3 excellent choices for each course. Although expensive, the atmosphere and service made the meal even more special! Our server Thomas was well-versed in the menu choices and available beverages, and he kept the pace of the meal appropriately slow. The very comfortable lounge area was perfect for the short wait for our table, with an open fireplace and antique sofas. We will definitely be back!

    Our waitress was very nice. Unfortunately our reservations were supposed to be for 10 o’clock and it was supposed to be a Thanksgiving themed five course meal. It was a brunch with a limited menu.

    I bring my two sisters to the Red Stag whenever they come to visit. It had become a tradition. However, this visit was a disappointment. Although the young lady that waited on us was very nice, she seemed to be the only wait staff and so the service was very slow. We ordered our favorite, the wagyu burger, and mine was overcooked, the bacon tough, and I ended up sending it back. I'm simply just disappointed.

    The service and atmosphere were absolutely outstanding. The food, not so well, but I hear they where having a bad day in the kitchen. The filet was cooked just right, but lacked flavor/seasoning. The mashed potatoes were cold. The scallops also lacked flavor, unfortunate because I was really craving the buttery goodness! It was mentioned for feedback sake only, but the management did fairly compensate. Making up for the food issue was the service and ambiance. From the greeter to our awesome waiter, we felt like royalty. The vibe in the place is - bohemian! Typically not a place that would draw my attention, but now I cannot wait to go back!

    My boyfriend and I loved our dinner! I ordered the Elk Loin and my boyfriend ordered the Filet Mignon! Both were very delicious I highly recommend! Our waiter Brandon was outstanding, and very friendly. We will definitely be coming back soon!

    Our waiter Brian B made our special occasion fantastic by providing excellent service, perfect recommendations, and a surprise pecan pie cake on the house. We will definitely be back there next time. We’re in Asheville!

    I would only recommend this place as a one time visit just to see the hotel some and the asthetic of the retrant. The food wasnt anthing to brag about what so ever especially for the price.

    David was my waiter, he was very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and the timing between the appetizer and entree was perfect. Had a few different types of drinks from the bar and they were all fantastic. Overall wonderful experience.

    Touristy. Service was fair at best. Food was good, but not outstanding. Did NOT feel like a European game lodge despite its pretending to be one. Pricey for what you get. Evening ended with the valet bringing us the wrong car. Would rate the entire experience AAA 3.5

    The elk and pork tomahawk were delicious. The Caesar salad was tasty as were the mushrooms. The mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, sauces, and the calamari need to be worked on. The mashed potatoes were lumpy. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and very little short rib-better to keep it out. The calamari could have had a lighter coating and the sauce had too much mustard in it. The manhattans were delicious. The old fashion was very small. Hope you can address these issues!!

    Our service at lunch was atrocious.. the rest of the staff was welcoming, nice and helpful! Not sure why the person that waited on us was so unhappy that we existed but, that’s how she made us feel none the less. Appetizer was under cooked so it was raw in the middle, which happens.. and is easily correctable if your server cared. A salad covered in chives that is not described as such on the menu, I’ll reference the past statement and chicken and waffles that are good but, forgettable.

    When we arrived everything seemed perfect. Got our drinks quickly and the apps quickly as well. Then we put our order in and mind you this places was not full house busy. We ordered 2 steaks and 3 sides nothing crazy special. We didn’t receive our food for an hour. The wait wasn’t the worst part. We we received our food, it was dead cold. Sides were cold. So that why it’s getting sick a bad ratting from us.
